The pastries are excellent.Their coffee is horrible.They charged me for an Americano but it was weaker than drip coffee and room temperature.I mentioned this and they offered me another shot and it made no difference. I also did not hear the loud espresso machine sounds, so I have no idea what kind of coffee they’re selling at Americano prices? I suggest sticking to tea at this place.And don’t expect to be greeted with a smile.Friendly, they are not.

I have made a review in the past and I had to leave another one because I want to emphasize how great this authentic patisserie is. There is no other bakery in Del Mar that comes close. Same goes for the larger sister location in La Jolla where you can see right into the kitchen as they intricately work, Parisien Gourmandises. Not only is the owner and main Pastry Chef raised in France, she and the other chefs have worked and collaborated with some of the leading pasty chefs in the industry. Any mixed or bad reviews left on here are either by people who have ulterior motives or just have bad taste in food; you can quote me. Their kouign amann is absolute BLISS. Getting pastries and cake from them is my weekly pleasure. The staff is always kind and attentive. It's immaculately clean. They also have a beautiful selection of imported goods and sweets. For anyone who's reading average reviews, thats just not the case. I see people complaining that sometimes they close early and I can't say thats a fair assessment. They make FRESH BATCHES DAILY to ensure that you are getting the best quality and at times they sell out. Anything that sells out fast just proves my point and is a testament as to how excellent it is. Just had the most incredible birthday cake, "LE ROYAL AU CHOCOLAT". Go see for yourself. Get there early.

This place was such a great find!! I thought there would be a lot more people swarming the bakery, but it was pretty quiet and chill when we went. Everything was delicious. We got the raspberry rose croissant, pitachio croissant, and pear almond tart. The texture and flavors of the baked goods were perfect. The pistachio croissant looked a little too synthetically green inside, but it tasted normal. I got the honey lavender latte and my friend got tea. The latte was delicious and perfectly balanced. Their little patio area was very nice to sit in. Parking was pretty easy too!
This is a sister location to parissene gourmandes in La Jolla. Same pastries just weekend hours. Id stick to the creme filled croissants and rolled croissants.
Great tasting pastries. Very unique. Would highly recommend.

This is a tiny shop with lots of foot traffic. After waiting about 30 mins, we found that there were no longer any flavored croissants left, so we ordered an apple danish and slice of chocolate cake, along with an americano and a caramel iced latte. Some things to note: while they have a large selection, since they are very popular, they likely won't have what you want by the time you get to the front of the line. It's best to come right at opening because the lines get so long. The Apple danish was alright- a little dry to my liking, hardly any cream cheese and hardly an apple. Also, the espresso drinks were not good- my drink was mostly milk and ice.

Very cute little shop with lots of pantry goods and visually stunning pastries. We got the ferrero rocher cake and the peach and thyme cake. Both were excellent. The price is on the higher end but I think the items we got were worthwhile - everything was fresh and flavourful.The staff weren't the friendliest but not really rude, since I've seen some other reviews about this.We'll likely go back to try more items.Parking: There is a garage built into the plaza. We had no trouble getting parking on a Saturday
Pastries? Where do I sign up?! I love pastries and they have all kinds! Great service and beautiful view from the outside. The pastries were well crafted and tasted amazing! I was a bit disappointed in the lattes. We had Vanilla syrup added but all the flavor was left at the bottom. I thought it was weird when there was no flavor. When I got to the end, I got chunks of vanilla flavoring. I'd still come back but probably skip their drinks.

When my friend asked how I felt about getting pastries with a view of the ocean, I was sold! The service wasn't very friendly and I felt a bit rushed, but the food makes up for it! My friend got a chocolate almond croissant and I got an almond pear danish. I wish I lived closer so I could try more!
