Great food & ambience. Servers are all energetic, efficient and very nice and the food was really good (especially the short ribs tamarindo).

Fun atmosphere inside and nice patio seating outside. Nice location too.

While the atmosphere and service were excellent, the food was just okay flavor-wise, especially considering how amazing Mexican food is in general in San Diego. I've been here twice now, I've only had their fish tacos and burritos, so take my review with a grain of salt. If it was in another city, it would probably be a 5 star Mexican restaurant, but the standards are high in San Diego. Vibes are great, so if you're there to hang out and are okay with not being blown away by the food, it's still worth checking out.

Cheerful attentive server. Lots of chips and salsa on the table and the food was great! I was concerned about the noise that might be coming from being situated on the main drag but it wasn't even noticeable. There was nice house music so that must have been why. Birthday banuelos were absolutely delicious, definitely order theses

The strawberry margarita I had was so good, best 21st birthday drink!!

Great food and great service. We brought people who had not been there before, and they said they cannot wait to come back.

We had a great family outing with two little kids with us. The wait staff did a great job of bringing us what we needed and being able to accommodate vegetarian requests. Outdoor patio area is covered and spacious.

Some of the best margaritas in town. Beautiful location great service, great atmosphere. Food could be better, but everything else makes up for it.

Food and service was amazing! There were 16 of us in a party and they were able to accommodate us within 20 mins. Service fast and food was delicious!

We did come in with a reservation on Sat night, but had to wait maybe 10 mins until they got our table. It was a busy night and a lovely vibe in the area so we just walked around while we waited. Not an issue at all.

Really creative food and drink menu. Group tried the seasonal Blackberry something margarita and seemed to like it.

Elote Spears - 11/10Unbelievably yum! The corn was soft but still perfectly charred and the combo of sauces and cotija as amazing. Perfect sweet-spicy vibe!

Oaxacan Fig Mole - 10/10
Really lovely flavor here! I've heard of Mole sauces sometimes being too strong but this was perfect! Soft chicken (husband said a few pieces he got were overcooked), phenomenal black beans and overall lovely dish.

Mahi Mahi Tacos - 10/10Definitely surprised by the amount of fish in there (and it was yum and perfectly cooked!). Honestly love how simple it was (Grilled Swordfish, Cabbage Mix, Pineapple Pico, Cilantro, Corn Tortilla). None of the extra cheese crisp or aioli and such. A grea great healthy, high protein and lower calorie option. Pineapple pico was a great touch.

Chicken Echiladas(Green & Red Sauce) - 9.5/10
Only reason I took off a point is because in comparison with everything else this was fairly normal. Well, now that I think of it, it was actually quite loaded and right amount of cheese and sauce balance. Had leftovers for the next day and it's still tasted lovely!
Honestly, I think I preferred the green one over the red one but overall recommending.

Crispy Zucchini Tacos - Friend who was vegetarian got this. I was actualy impressed that the place had a veg taco option that wasnt just beans. Really thoughtful.

The wife and I stopped in for lunch on a Tuesday and had a really good authentic experience. The food and drinks were delicious and our waiter was very kind and helpful with discussing the area and things to do, as we were just visiting. The Carne Asada Tacos were delicious and the rice & beans are a must to go along with. I wish we had the ability to come back at night because all of the outdoor patio tables have mini fireplaces built into them and I bet the experience is very relaxing. It’s at a great location as well. Highly recommend!

We arrived early and hostess was able to quickly seat us. We had a table outside and the ambiance was fantastic. Food was amazing, very fresh tasting food. You do have to pay for more than 1 chips and salsa at this restaurant, which is the only reason I rated the value a little lower. Overall, great!

Have been looking at this restaurant for a couple of years and finally tried it. I was pleasantly surprised. The drinks and food was a little pricey but the food was great.
