bruh this waterfountain straight up saved my life let me tell you fam. I was Hella parched and had the worst case of cottonmouth since the 4-20 and out of nowhere like a desert oasis, this waterfountain appears and quenches my thirst and ended my suffering.

Nice small park located near the train tracks and the beach. You can sit and look down on the beach and watch surfers and swimmers and gulls. The public parking lot is very pricey, but street parking is reasonably priced.

Big grassy area right up from the water. Bathrooms are pretty nasty though. There’s some public showers to rinse the sand off your feet or clean off the salt water after if you’ve been catching some waves. Great for sunsets or to have a picnic anytime.

such a warm, friendly, stunningly beautiful place where all are welcome - dogs, babies, tourists, surfers, strollers and sun worshipers like me.

We live about two miles from here and go regularly to walk on the beach with guests. Parking is terrible in the summer but not bad between October - May. A short two blocks into downtown Del Mar for plenty of food choices, from casual takeout to higher-end sit down dining.

Parking can be an adventure. There's either street parking (which is cheaper) or parking across the street in the lot(s). We got lucky and got street parking. The facilities are clean, on one side (where the community center is) there is only 1 bathroom and shower, walk down a bit to where Poseidon is and there is additional bathrooms and showers.
