My family stopped in for a bite and had a most enjoyable experience. delicious cucumber water served immediately, greatful because we were all thirty. Terrific and clever cocktails my son had a basil smash and my hubby had a Margherita. Food was great. My gluten-free pizza Margherita was done to perfection. So glad we popped in it made our vacation.

Finally made it into Zel's after eyeing it for years. We sat in the bar where staff was so friendly, vibes were great, live music was entertaining, and our food was delicious. We ordered the hummus plate, lemongrass caesar salad, and sambal shrip, and it was all awesome. Can't wait to go back.

Overpriced and poor service. The waiter never refilled our ice tea. The table next to us end up walked away after tired of waiting for the waiter. $21 before tax and tip for a kids pizza + a bowl of butter noodle. No veggie options for kids and run out of milk as well….

Only had dessert (lemon tart) and coffee. Tart was terrible: tough, thick, practically inedible pastry shell ant the thinnest possible layer of (tasty, lemony) filling. A total disappointment and waste of money. Service was excellent: prompt, personable, and attentive.

My wife and I have been coming to Zel,s for years we were there recently on a Friday night after a hike from Torrey Pines stopped in for a salad which she always gets used to be $14 now it’s $17 she would literally would say oh my God oh my God when she ate it this time I looked over no oh my God I said what happened she says they didn’t put enough cashews they didn’t put enough tortilla strips on a scale of one to 10 what would you give it she said a 5 I ordered a pepperoni and sausage pizza asked for Parmesan when the bill came we found out it was a dollar very disappointing we asked the waiter he said that they had a new chef how hard is it to make a salad not saying we won’t be back but hopefully next time the Food is better

So glad we stopped in! We have passed it on walks many times but finally stopped in for dinner. The food was fantastic and service was great!! We will definitely be back soon.
Parking: 2 at the restaurant and street parking near. Can be difficult to find a spot at peak times but the walk is usually pretty nice anyway.
