My husband and I stopped in here after a hike around Point Lobos on our wedding anniversary which also happened to fall this year on Easter and spring break, so things were busy at The Tap Room. We were seated right away, and the room was beautiful. I got a Reuben sandwich (I always like to order this if it's on the menu) and it was so delicious with the corned beef sliced thin as it out to be, and my perfect ratio of sauce and sauerkraut to Corned beef on beautiful swirled rye/pumpernickel bread. What I'm really here to tell you about though is my server, Nick. He was so friendly - but not intrusive, conversational - but not too chatty. Just a top notch server. I've had lots of good service before at restaurants, but Nick will be remembered by me even after I've forgotten about the food. I also got the impression from the other staff that checked on us during the meal, that the level of care was shared by the whole staff. World class service!

Dinner at The Tap Room the night before our epic round at Pebble Beach, is an absolutely must! Ordered the prime rib plate with mac n' cheese, mushrooms and potatoes for sides. The rest of the guys ordered steaks and every dish was on point, cooked perfectly, seasoned well and plenty of flavor. Our waiter was incredibly courteous, friendly and attentive including bringing a second round of drinks because he knew we wouldn't be saying no! Capped off the dinner with dessert and we were ready for the next day on the course!

Delicious food and good service. We stopped here after driving the 17 Mile Drive, and it was great. The Potato Skins were so good. I would go back for those alone. Everything else we had was great too.The service was good (our waiter was very nice), but a little on the slow side considering they weren't very busy when we went (took a while to get seated then to actually get service to the table).

Came here for dinner our first night in pebble beach and had an amazing dinner. I'm a big french onion soup lover and this one was amazing! The crispy onion on top were a delicious touch! The steak is also a must, my husband got the Kobe beef with salt board and side of truffle butter and it was one of the best steaks I have ever had! We had the bourbon pecan bread pudding for dessert and we all loved it as well. Overall everything was amazing and I loved the relaxed/bar vibes here.

Decided to visit The Taproom after a late lunch at Sticks, to try their Southern Coconut Cake. There was an influx of guest. Monday night football was starting and we decided maybe we would stay and have an app. We requested the menu back and Drew our waiter, told us that a 6 o'clock reservation was coming up. We we're basically being asked to move along. We were a bit confused as we already had a table and had no idea that a reservation was required when we walked in. No one advised us that we had a limited time for seating. It was a complete turn off and now ending on a negative note, as there were clearly open tables in addition to bar stools. I've never had such a distasteful experience at any of the Pebble Beach locations in the past. We were quite disappointed and embarrassed that we where treated in such a manner. The table next to us were very nice and must've heard the comment as they had shared that they had to make a reservation in the past and were surprised that we secured a table. I figured it was because it was a Monday evening. If your going to try this place definitely make a reservation so your not treated like a 2nd class citizen.

Hubs wanted to check out Pebble Beach, so we paid the $11.75 for the 17-mile toll fee. However, the fee can be reimbursed if at least $35 is spent at one of the Pebble Beach restaurants, which is how we ended up at The Tap Room. We arrived at the restaurant at around 2pm and able to get a table right away, although it was pretty busy. I wanted something light - soup and salad. We couldn't decide between the French Onion or trying the garlic soups, so we ordered both to share. The cups were pretty deep, and both soups arrived piping hot. The French Onion was rich in flavor and cheesy. I liked the crispy onion topping as well. The garlic soup was different - creamy and didn't necessarily taste like garlic - savory and flavorful. I decided on the Waldorf salad. It was just ok to me, but hubs liked it. Hubs ordered the Kobe Brie burger, which was served with truffle potato wedges. The wedges were hot and crispy, and the truffle flavor came through. Took a bite of the burger to give it a try. The brioche bun was soft and pillowy, and the burger was very tasty. There was a wait for our food, and our server came to apologize and noted the kitchen was backed up with an influx of orders. However, the staff checked on us often and made sure our water / iced tea cups remained full.

Have been going here for years and have never been disappointed with the food or drinks. We've eaten the following, and they're really good . French onion soup, prime rib chili with cornbread, kobe brie burger with truffle wedge potatoes,A5 wagyu and much more. If you like desserts, the southern coconut cake is great. We know the husband of the former pastry chef that created the recipe. If you like sundaes, then have The Taproom Sundae, which is really huge and has double vanilla bean ice cream, warm buttered bananas, honey almonds, cookie pieces, sticky hot fudge. To get an idea how big it is from the picture, look at the glass of water next to it. It's the best sundae ever imo.

Stopped by to get a quick meal at the Tap Room and the food was amazing. The Kobe burger was the best burger I've ever had. My server Antonio was super helpful and kind. Would recommend to anyone.

The Tap Room is hands-down, the best steakhouse in all of Monterey peninsula. The food, the atmosphere, the bar, and the staff are all world class. We always start with a cocktail and a couple of appetizers. Then we move on to their world-class selection of meats and wines. This place NEVER disappoints. Trust me. Also know that everyone thinks that it is impossible to get a reservation here, but it's not true. Many times we will come and put our names in and head to the bar and get a table with in under 20 minutes. Its my wife and I favorite place for dinner. Anytime we have special guests in town we bring them here!!
