Flavor of Punjab | Punjabi Dhaba is a no frills roadside gem on Highway 99 near Delano, serving truly authentic Indian food. The vegetarian dishes, goat curry, and other non-vegetarian items are absolutely delicious, with great flavor and the right level of spice. The malai kofta and paneer bhurji are amazing, with rotis just like homemade. The chicken curry is the best, and the garlic naan bread is a must-try. The aloo Samosas are freshly prepared, and the fish pakoras are mild and crispy. The tandoori chicken is slightly different, and the Dhal is ultimate, pairing well with Naan, Rotis, and Jeera Rice. Generous portions and fair prices make it well worth the stop. The hospitality is outstanding, with a friendly and welcoming staff. The husband-and-wife team are the chefs, preparing amazing food with great care. Extra condiments like achaar, chutney, and onion salad are offered, along with a free water bottle. The masala tea is also really good. Highly recommended for anyone looking for authentic Indian cuisine.
