Food is really good 👍

Delicious, fresh, authentic, worth every penny. We started coming here over four years ago, and the taste has not changed. It is just an incredible restaurant. The customer service has always been excellent. Cam has always been helpful and a pleasure to talk to; she is one of the reasons why my family keeps coming back. Customer service is just as important as the quality of the food. You should give them a try. Sometimes, they may be a little busy, so order with plenty of time to pick up your order if you are ordering to go. You will not be disappointed.

I've been working and travelling in the US for the last 4 years. Every where I go I try to get Indian food and more often than most I'm left disappointed. Not this evening, this place is fantastic. Best curry I've had in the USA by far. Thank you 'Its Taste of India'

Easily the best restaurant in DHS. The Chana and Paneer Tikka Masala were both rich, flavorful, and perfectly spiced.

The naan was just the right amount of crisp. Everything hit the spot. Highly recommend if you’re in the area and craving quality Indian food.

Very delicious authentic Indian food must try

I recently tried ‘It’s taste of India’ restaurant for the first time. It’s a nice little family restaurant with a friendly owner and staff. Our food was excellent with plenty to take home as leftovers. The vegetarian options were plentiful, with some dishes that I don’t usually see. I’m looking forward to trying them in my next few visits!
According to one reviewer, people who liked the food only liked it because they haven’t been to other Indian restaurants or they are paid to give good reviews….i have not been paid, and I have been to plenty of other Indian restaurants, in the Coachella valley and in other cities and countries. I’m certainly not an expert like that reviewer, but I do love Indian food and am happy to support a local restaurant.

It's Taste of India in Desert Hot Springs is hands down one of my favorite spots. The food is always a perfect 10/10 — full of flavor, fresh, and cooked with care. You can tell it's made by people who truly know and love authentic Indian cuisine.

The staff is incredibly warm and welcoming. They're from India and bring a genuine touch of hospitality that makes you feel at home. Every visit is a great experience, both for the food and the people.

Highly recommend this gem if you're craving real Indian food and great service! 🙌🍛🇮🇳

Really good Indian - by far the best in the Desert

Avoid this restaurant if you can!
The worst ever Indian food we had. The food quality, taste and the service were very inferior. The owner lady in the front was extremely rude in treating customers. There was one customer having an infant was asking for the seat due to cold outside while waiting for the food but she literally refused to provide the seat despite having enough capacity in the restaurant. The Indian curries were full of food colors and tasteless.

It's a tiny restaurant managed by only one man at the front. We went there on a weekday night, and ordered samosas (which the waiter forgot), garlic naan, malai kofta, and lamb biryani. The food was decent enough, but nothing to write home about.
Where it lacks, and the reason for 3 stars, is the service. We had to ask multiple times even to get water, and didn't even bother to ask for refills. We just waited till we got back to our room to have water. The prices are too high for the atmosphere and the level of service.

Only Indian place I will pick up in the desert. I drive from Rancho Mirage to eat here and I have many Indian places much closer. Total 5 star food.

DO NOT GO! Ordered lamb and gave me chicken. They still charged me for lamb, which is more expensive. All 5 stars reviews are fake reviews, as you can easily tell. Horrible service and horrible food. They are so rude that was the worst dinner we've ever had. Not worth the price at all. They also over charged us.

The service was lacking, the table I was seated at was dirty, and the lamb korma was flavorless and filled with more fat than meat. I’d let that go, but the last time ordered it for delivery, the lamb was mostly just fat as well. They’ve also raised their prices since last time. If you’re going to charge me $20+ for a meal, that meal better be exactly what you’ve described on the menu. It’s just such a disappointment. 😞

One of the worst lamb biryani I ever had and the mango lassi is too colourful such a way that it will last 5 hours on your tongue
