Not professional at all, first took the order and few menu items were not available. Waited around 30 mins and then asked how much time would it take for the order and then were told it will take at-least an hour for the order so had to leave and find another restaurant. We had only orders two main items and three breads.

Probably the best Indian food for 50 miles around. Very friendly, family-owned restaurant. Saag and Lamb dishes recommended.

Me and my partner love the masala paneer but it seems like they changed their recipe not as spicy or creamy as before, which sucks because that's what makes it so tasty and

Food was wonderful. Had chicken van doo loo, and chicken tandoori. Could have shared the tandoori it was a lot and very tasty, but needs rice or... to go with. Excuse the spelling errors. It is a gem.
Great dishes, clearly marked vegetarian and vegan options. Chose middle spiciness and for our English tastes that was great. Americans not used to spice may need less. Took a while to get the to go order on a Friday at 4.30pm but that's great as it shows it was being made fresh.

I believe it's the only indian restraunt in the region. It's a good casual spot with great potential. But they have a very small space to host... so take out is a good option. There is only one host who is super busy. He is juggling a lot of work. The food... for me, the only good thing was the Naan.Chicken Tikka was a huge turn-off.... it is not even cooked in the way it's described in the menu. The pilaf.. ... the malai kofta .... lamb curry... we can definitely improve.May be they are short staffed. But i can definitely say there is so much to improve.

Food was delicious, but I have two reasons for the low review. The paneer pakora (cheese fritters) is a little disappointing and presentation wise too. It should be served in a plate, not a plastic basket. The vegetable biryani was delicious, but I'm not a fan of cloves and I had to remove them from the dish.Service wise, the waiter needs to be more attentive. We didn't get our drinks for a while. The naan bread should've come first, not when we're half way finished with our food.Customers seated next to me ordered chicken masala, which I heard them say, and waiter brought them the vegetarian plate. When customers addressed the error, the waiter said it was too late to reorder or modify the dish. Then the waiter had the audacity to bring a large picture sign that hangs outside the restaurant window to prove he was right and the patron was wrong. If it were me, I would've brought them some chicken on the side and that would've resolved it.

I will move my review to five stars after I've had a chance to dine there again. Ordered takeout, took longer than I anticipated as they were very busy. Cordial staff. I ordered chicken pakora, chicken tikka, tandoori chicken, garlic naan and lamb saag. All were very good, mild spice level, next time I'll get medium spice level. Thr chicken tikka and tandoori were tender and tasty. I did not eat the lamb, but husband said it was very good. I do prefer the garlic naan that Sam's Pizza and Indian food makes in Joshua Tree, because it is thicker, softer, with greasy garlic chunks. Others might not like it like that, so take all reviews with grain of salt, as reviews are so subjective. I will order from Its Taste of India again, hopefully dine in.Wheelchair accessibility: All good
