Good Mexican food. Chips were fresh and delicious. The food was well prepared and very tasty. Excellent margaritas. Service was good. The atmosphere was friendly. We will eat there again.

This was probably the best meal we had on our visit to Desert Hot Springs. In general we were disappointed in my choice to stay in this area. This restaurant was a bright spot. Clean store, friendly staff, great drinks, and delicious food. If YOU ever make the decision to go to Desert Hot Springs and wonder why once you get there, stop by here, and it will make you feel better.

Always predictably good food and good service. The printed menu is pretty predictable standard fare. But, their daily and 'light board' specials are helping their variety a lot. Most of their staff is family, and do a great job of predicting patrons' needs and helping others out when the place can get slammed. I'd be remiss if I didn't mention how impressed I was with their molcajete. Good job with the spice levels and nice, plump ingredients. Several local community groups have rightly chosen to have their weekly meeting in this location, yet the staff keeps on top of things in the main dining areas, even when the banquet room is full. This restaurant can use improvement in all kinds of ways. Too much to list. Looks like someone lost caring for their business. Could use an exterior/interior update and updated revamped menu. Felt like they were trying to serve "old people" quality of food because that's what was there in house tonight. My Cadillac Margarita was off and tasted too strong. It is what it is. Too bad as it could be so much better. I've eaten Mexican food all over California and this place ranks low on my list.

1st time here and I ordered the Full Nacho plate and that's how I felt when I left,FULL. The Nacho plate was full of meat,chicken, and the cheese was generous just the way I would have made it for myself. A dialup of sour cream and guacamole on top. My friend Jason who eats like a bird had the beef taquitos and hand to God. I saw him finish a whole dinner for the 1st time!If your looking for a place to sit and talk,throw back a few drinks and dine,this is your spot.Very quite,toned down atmosphere. The waitress was very friendly.Parking: Behind restaurant, maybe 20 spots.
