Pho was really good don't judge a book by it's cover. At first I thought it was going to be bad because of the recent reviews for this place but when I tried the egg rolls and pho with my mom it turned out to be better than expected. Definitely will try again when returning to Desert Hot Springs. :)
If you can come without service expectations, then you will be able to enjoy the food. I come here often, always in the afternoon. It is usually pretty empty, which means I get served quickly and probably with fresher ingredients. I've tried about 6 dishes, and not once have i been disappointed with the quality or taste of the food. Ordered an iced coffee and it tasted like chai with bits of boba-like jelly. Not pleasant and watered down. Pho tasted meh compared to others. Also had some beef noodle dish that was different than expected. Not my favorite. If you're new to Vietnamese food, go ahead and try, but this isn't the norm. Sorry for the lack luster review. I do plan to visit again here and there to see if there will be any changes!
