First time trying from this spot and I ordered the plain edamame, gyoza, and spicy scallop roll. The edamame and gyoza were delicious, but the roll could’ve used a tad more flavor. The scallop was delicious and fresh, but it was definitely missing flavor. Besides that, staff was friendly and kind !

Me and my buddy had a great experience here today after coming home from a weekend trip in the mountains. The food was excellent, and the atmosphere seemed more authentic than I anticipated. Great prices/quality on the selections of fresh fish and rolls. The bathroom was absolutely spotless/sanitized, well decorated, and smelled great. I am definitely coming back to enjoy a delicious meal again. Arigatō!!!

We discovered Sushi Bella by chance - we wanted Sushi near my friend's house. What a fortunate discovery! This unassuming place is packed with good neighborhood vibes and flavorful food offerings. We loved everything we tried: salted edamame, baked mussels, Baja roll, salmon lover roll, dragon roll. The service is light-hearted, friendly, approachable - and respectful of the clients' space and need fro conversation! Both the chef-owner and Youmi (his wife) were warm and great to talk to. My young friend and I highly recommend Sushi Bella.

Top notch food, service, and atmosphere. I will come back every time we come through Desert Hot Springs. Get the sushi, miso soup, and salmon. Get everything! The cheese wontons!! Omg. Everything was so good! And the staff is beyond amazing. Can’t wait to come back!

Delightful little sushi spot with generous amounts of fish in the rolls. The rolls were fantastic! Cajun spice seared tuna roll was really original and delicious. The chef and server were both kind and welcoming :)

Recently visited with my husband & daughters (6 and 2). The over all experience was fantastic, they greeted us right away, and the food came out super quick. The food was spectacular! The flavor was amazing, compliments to the chef/s. Such great & friendly people we enjoyed every moment & made sure to check up on us constantly to make sure everything meet our standards. This place is a hidden gem! Can’t wait to revisit & know that there will be no disappointment. Only complaint was it was a bit warm inside, but that also could have been because of the ramen we had & the heat wave we are going into.

If you’re in the area, you have to come and check out Sushi Bella. The vibes here were absolutely wonderful. The waitress Jane was very helpful and very nice! The chef was very quick and all of his sushi was delicious. Everyone was super helpful and we were served quickly. 10/10 next time we’re in the area, we’ll be coming back!

With the new owners, this restaurant has been such a great place to visit. The restaurant is always nice and clean. The owners are wonderful and so kind. As a former Sushi Chef at a high-end restaurant, I can say that their food quality is very, very good. I will not eat sushi from any restaurant cause I can tell what the fish quality is and the other ingredients used. I have been to Sushi Bella a few times, and they never disappoint. Will definitely keep on supporting this business.
