The only restaurant in DHS that I can trust and tbh they’ll basically be getting my money everyday as long as I live in the area. I tried the turkey avacado which was around the same price as Subway for a way better taste and portion. Not just a great sandwhich shop, but a great restaurant.

Ordered a sandwich on door dash and they didn’t follow any instructions not toasted missing cheese and not even the meats I ordered tired to call say on hold for 15 min and hung up never going back again

I was a bit nervous about trying The Spread today, especially since the online reviews are quite mixed. When I arrived, I was greeted by a charming building with irresistible aromas that immediately set the tone for a great meal.
I ordered the Buffalo Chicken sandwich and upgraded it to a combo. For my side, I chose the ranch pasta salad, which was exactly what I expected—delicious and satisfying. The salad didn’t look very appetizing at first glance, but it tasted fantastic, and I was happy with my choice. The veggies in the salad were incredibly fresh, provided by a farmer in the Dell—if you’re local, you know that means top-quality ingredients.
The real standout was the Buffalo Chicken sandwich on cheddar jalapeño bread—it was outrageously good. I definitely plan to order it again. I also appreciated that they carry Mexican Coke, which is always a nice touch.
Overall, I’d give this place a 10 out of 10. The staff was extremely friendly, helpful, and patient with me as a first-time customer trying to decide what to order. If you’re in Desert Hot Springs, I highly recommend stopping by The Spread. It’s a delightful spot!

Delicious subs but went in at 5:45pm and they told us that they were already closed when online it says they close at 6pm

I came in at 5:45 and this place already had everything shut off like it was already closed. They told me that we already did last call at 5:45. I work in the hospitality business and last call does not mean you are close. Last call means you let everyone know that you will Be closing soon and that notification is to let everyone know if you want to still order you need to make your final thoughts. They told me I can’t order anything hot. Closing duties shouldn’t be started until closing. the crew should be out 30 minutes after closing. That 30 minutes is the time to turn everything off. Amanda, who is the manager or owner should know how a kitchen should be ran
