I’ve lived in Diamond Bar my entire life, and I’ve seen plenty of Thai spots come and go—but this one seriously blew me away. I recently visited for the first time, and even though it was busy and we didn’t have a reservation, the service was quick and the food came out incredibly fast and fresh.
We ordered the coconut shrimp, papaya salad (medium spice—just right!), Pad Thai, Tom Yum soup, and crab fried rice to share between four people. Every dish hit the mark, and we left with full bellies and happy hearts.
The restaurant is clean, bright, and thoughtfully designed with light wood accents and large windows that let in plenty of natural light. The vibe was warm and welcoming, and I loved seeing families of all backgrounds dining together—it added to the experience.
It’s also super convenient—right off the freeway and surrounded by shopping plazas, so you’ll have no trouble finding parking. I can’t wait to bring my parents back here. Definitely a new go-to spot in the neighborhood!

The best Thai food in the area. Cannot speak highly enough. Yes there is sometimes a wait but it is worth it! Definitely would recommend the spicy pad Thai with chicken and the papaya salad!

The food is great! The service is on par. The waiters and waitresses are polite and well mannered and well trained. The prices could use a little adjustment on the low side. Other than that, the place is comfortable to relax and enjoy a good meal.

I visited Basil & Co because i was craving some authentic Thai food and it definitely satisfied my cravings. I ordered the egglplant basil and i couldn’t believe how fresh the food was and the staff were very on point. Would definitely recommend!!!

Food definitely had good flavor, atmosphere and staff was great, presentation was great, but I walked in and noticed that there were many awards on the wall and overestimated what the food was going to be. Considering how many awards there were, I was disappointed to find out that there wasn’t a lot of depth to each dish ingredients wise and I felt it was too simple. I just wish there were more vegetables or edible herbs in the dish rather than herbs for presentation. Again, food was good, great flavor I was just a bit thrown off and underwhelmed

Always having great time eat at basil & Co. The food here is absolutely delicious! Every dish we tried was bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. Highly recommend the this place!!! Also the service is top-notch! The staff is friendly, attentive, and goes above and beyond to ensure a memorable dining experience. Kudos to the entire team! Great place to do all celebrations!!!! We shared a few dishes and everything was amazing!! Pad Kee Mao, Red Curry Chicken, Crispy Pork Belly, Lettuce Wraps, Spring Rolls, and finished with amazing Mango Stick Rice. We have eaten here a few times when we are in town and it is always excellent.

Delicious delicious! Every dish I've had here is superb. Chicken stay, Tom yum soup, fried calamari, papaya salad with soft shell crab, fried pork belly and drunken noodle are all great! Their sauces are better than any other Thai restaurants in the near vicinity. Come early or be prepared for a wait.
Very tasty food. Online menu has very well marked vegan items (physical menu doesn’t show all the vegan options - scan the QR code, there are more). Non-vegan friend and vegan-me both agreed food was delicious. Fresh ingredients. Friendly staff. Nicely decorated. Just be warned it gets busy (and loud) for lunch some days so you can expect to wait for a table.
