Ahhh. That was interesting
My mom and I stopped by for a sweet treat after eating at Wok Chinese, but had a very strange and uncomfortable experience. The man working told us he only accepted cash, then started reciting odd poetry, complaining about the world, and speaking to us in Hindi.
We just wanted ice cream, but the conversation became increasingly awkward. My mom asked if he was okay or if the store was closing, and he insisted that he knew us and that we’d been to this Baskin-Robbins before — even though this was our very first visit. My mom explained that maybe he was confusing her with a friend who lives in the area and looks similar, but he wouldn’t let it go.
He never gave us a receipt, and the whole interaction felt unsettling. I came back today to leave a review, and now it’s listed as “temporarily closed,” which makes the situation feel even shadier. I usually don’t write reviews, but I would recommend avoiding this location until it’s clear what’s going on.
I've never felt so uncomfortable in a Baskin Robbins before. The service is terrible; upon walking in I saw a man behind the counter (presumably the owner based on other reviews) laughing very loudly on the phone and ignoring me. Another person came in during this time and was also ignored. I stood by the freezers for a few minutes before a kid that couldn't be older than 10 (owners daughter?) came up to the counter and asked what I wanted. The lights were dimmed and the whole place just had an uncomfortable, unwelcoming feeling. Additionally, as other reviews noted, one of the freezers wasnt working and they overcharge for the ice cream compared to other nearby locations.
I usually don't leave negative reviews- or even make a big deal of bad service- but after reading about others' experience at this location, I wanted to share mine as well and implore you to take your business somewhere else where you wont be ignored. The owner needs to be held accountable for his negligent, rude service and I understand now why the place was so empty and run down. This location is not an accurate representation of the franchise and either needs to be shut down or undergo a change of ownership to even begin to be decent. Take your business to the location on Chino Hills Pkwy or Coldstone. No one deserves the stingy treatment, poor maintenance, and horrible service at this location, so don't even bother.
I stopped in for a single scoop bowl of pecan ice cream, and it was absolutely delicious. High quality and full of flavor. The shop itself was very clean and comfortable, which made it a nice place to relax with my kids.
The service was also excellent. The staff were friendly and helpful, and they offered plenty of samples so everyone could find something they liked.
Prices are a bit on the higher side for a single scoop, but you get a lot more value when ordering multiple scoops, so next time we’ll probably share a larger order together as a family.
Overall, this Baskin Robbins has consistently great ice cream and a welcoming atmosphere. We’ll definitely keep coming back!
Went in today because it is too hot and kids wanted some ice cream. I showed the man the app for parent pass promo and he laughed and said who invented that?! Like how would I know? He said his scanner was out of order for so long. He kept saying how funny the baskin robbins app were. Just rude attitude and definitely won’t be coming back to this place.
-The people don’t know the BR’s App, no way to add your purchase there into your points
-Prices are higher than others’, but the ice cream is smaller
-There are no many options for you to choose
Very disappointed in this location. I have tried to get ice cream from here at least two times in the last month. Each time I went it was hot and stuffy inside and the lights off. The ice cream selection is very limited. Both visits of mine I ended up walking out and going somewhere else for ice cream, due to the fact that they only had one freezer completely empty and the other freezer had 10 maybe 12 options to choose from. I won't be going back here.
Very delightful shopkeeper. Bonus Tip: Get a picture at the old fashioned phone booth outside. It’s reminiscent of the one Superman would go in to change from Clark Kent into Superman. 😂💯
Phones disconnected or what? Phone calls aren’t going through
Perfect location at the corner of Diamond Bar and Grand; next to Albertsons, Round Table Pizza, See's Candies and US Bank. My favorite is the banana split - The owner is nice and personable. Please visit to buy ice cream and support this small business!

Ridiculous. The staff is so rude. He laughed out loud when I asked if there’s any choice not too sweet. It’s really scary that someone laughed out suddenly in front of you.
