This place has now became a Thai restaurant. Although, they do serve a few Peruvian dishes still that aren't in their menu. I got the Lomo Saltado but it was just alright. Bit too much vinegar and not much meat compared to the rice portion. They served us complementary bread rolls and soup while we were waiting for our food. I haven't tried the Thai food here yet. They have lunch specials and the prices are reasonable. Will give it a try next time.

Supposedly under new management when we dined here. I don't understand the 4-star rating. I thought it was the worse Peruvian food I ever had. We ordered the lomo saltado and aji de gallina. Compared to other Peruvian restaurants we had in the past, they didn't taste authentic at all.

It's now a Thai restaurant called Thai Tea (same phone number) owned and run by a friendly Thai lady. The food is delish and authentic. The cook is also Thai. Their specialty is curry: red, yellow, green and panang as well as others. She recommends green curry on guilin noodles. We ordered chili basil chicken, stir-fried mixed veggies and yellow curry chicken. The restaurant doesn't have a sign yet. The city of diamond bar forced here to take it down.

Massive change, new ownership. Last time I went I got really sick. Not sure why it's been a great place and I hate giving a dishonest review. Please fix things and I will change my review. I went there about a month ago, haven't gone back:( would give a 1 star but loved this place before. Just fix things!

I'm in LOVE! This place had an amazing Lomo Saltado! I've been to other peruvian places but this hole in the wall location was MAGNIFICENT! I tried a few of their other dishes and it was DE-licious! Great service! They're decently priced but I wish we got more for our buck. Definitely suggest going at lunch during the week. As the Terminator says, "I'll be back."

Food is amazing. Service is friendly. Honestly, it's a small restaurant with great food is always good with me. When you come with no expectation and just let the food speak for itself... your experience will be much more pleasing. The gentleman that helped me was nice and helpful. I'll let the food speak for itself. It's our to-go for lunch pick up.

Food is good and reasonable price. There is a new owner and they will need a little more time to get everything in order. I will wait a little bit before I visit again.

Very friendly and very good food. This is a small place in a strip mall serving delicious and authentic Peruvian food and drinks. Start with the chicken and then try the specialty items. 1/2 Chicken with 2 large sides is only $8.95 What a great value. You can choose from a huge green salad, large portion of the big steak fries, rice or beans. This meal is a great value. Get an Inca Kola for a unique taste of Peru.

I've come here a few time, and the service is usually friendly and pretty quick. I usually come during lunch, and order the lomo saltado ($8.95). $13.95 normally. The portion size is slightly on the smaller side, but reasonable due to the lower lunch special price. The taste is very good with a generous amount of sauce. This is one of the better Peruvian restaurants in the area, and I would definitely recommend.

I wish I could've enjoyed the lunch here. Came in on a Wednesday afternoon. Wasn't greeted, given a menu nor noticed until 10 minutes later. The boss lady, was very disorganized while trying to figure out the total for 1 of the tables. Four tables around me were left dirty and unattended as I sat there and waved her down. She got me a menu and I ordered the chicken pasta with a fried egg on top. 40 minutes pass, I finally get my ice water. Still no food. She brings me a plate of Lomo Saltado I did not order. I told her that is not mines, she walks around confused. I sit patiently as I see other customers inquiring about their food and canceling after being told it would take an additional 30 minutes. A gentleman walks in and requests for a Lomo Saltado, she gives him the one that's been sitting at the desk because she doesn't know who originally ordered it. 50 minutes have passed, my lunch hour is ending. She comes up to me with a plate of ceviche. Again, I told her I did not order this, and repeated my order. After another 5 minutes of waiting, I was concerned and I go up to her to ask if my order was almost done and if I could get it in a to-go box. She checks it, it still hasn't been made yet. She asked me where I worked and if I wanted to cancel it. I had to cancel the order and returned back to work without a lunch. Such a shame, it looks like from other posts, the quality of this place has gone down.

Considering this is the only Peruvian food in the area, it's not bad. I ordered the lomo saltado without onions. It was good, but I was definitely not blown away. They also give complimentary bread while you wait, and yes you will wait. There was only one other party when we ordered, so the food took a bit longer than expected. Also, don't expect to come here and get amazing service. The waiter didn't even crack a smile. I'm such a small space, you'd expect him to check on the tables more or notice when I turned completely around to get his attention. I ended up having to go to the counter to get a menu to try and order an additional item and to get the check.

This is a small establishment. The food quality has been good but a majority of dishes come with fries as the side. The service is slow and could use more attention to the guest and timing of food arrival for the hungry guest.
