I really wanted to like Jade House, but my experience didn’t match the price or expectations. Some of the dishes felt inconsistent — for example, the BBQ pork and roast duck combo came with very small portions, and a big part of the plate was filled with vegetables instead of the actual entrée. For the price, I expected more substance.
Another issue was the quality of certain items. The sliced beef we ordered had a strange smell once cooked, and nobody at the table wanted to finish it. It made the meal feel disappointing overall.
The service wasn’t rude, but it also wasn’t very attentive, and the food didn’t feel fresh enough to justify the cost. I think there are better Chinese restaurants nearby that offer more reliable quality for the same price.

I've come here for years now, my dad is a regular and they know him. I love the tea they serve during dinner, always warm and refilled multiple times. We always order walnut shrimp, egg drop soup, Chinese broccoli with oyster sauce, Hong Kong style fish fillet, and ginger/garlic lobster dish. I would also recommend the duck! It comes with soft white buns and crispy colorful chips, very moist and delicious! Would always come 2 to 3 times a year.

This is the worst dinning experience ever . Food is average , chicken is cold , and overcharged us with vegetables, saying it’s not on the menu . The total amount was hand-written with 15% tips already included . When we asked about this to the guy , he insisted that this is mandatory if we choose to sit down and dine in . This is extremely ridiculous.
Avoid coming to this place !

Do NOT buy the sliced beef or lamb from this store. We bought 3 pounds of the sliced beef for hot pot, and it was terrible. As soon as we started cooking it, the smell was really strange, and when our kids tried it, they all spit it out immediately. The meat tasted like it had been frozen for a very, very long time — definitely not fresh. It completely ruined our hot pot with that unpleasant flavor. We were all very disappointed. Also, when we first walked into the store, there was an oily, greasy smell in the air that felt really uncomfortable. Definitely a place to avoid!

Great lunch special price and quality. Pork chop with spicy salt, three ingredients crispy tofu, steamed whole fish, and yang chow fried rice were delicious.

The total of my order was $69. The waiter showed me the total included tax was $80, so I asked him what the $11 was. He told me that's the tax. I thought the tax would be around 10%, so that should be $7 only ! After I asked him how did you calculate the tax. He told me that the price has already included tips, but he refused to provide me the invoice! What if I didn't ask him again? I would pay tips twice!!

This has been an extremely terrible experience. You advertised a special offer of two lobsters, three pounds for $49, but what you actually provided definitely did not meet that. The lobster heads alone were not enough for two, and the meat in the lobster bodies was very little. I swear to God I am not lying. Is your store intentionally deceiving customers for money? No wonder your business is doing so poorly. I hope your store closes down soon; your conscience seems completely absent

Restaurantji Recommends
Considering the location, it’s good for Hong Kong style restaurant. On a week night service can be slow but the kitchen sends out the food quickly.

Bad quality food, tastes like an old microwaved meal from 3 days ago… zero flavor and zero quality. VERY overpriced, fried rice is bland and chow mein tastes like cardboard. But server was polite
This is ridiculous! I paid $22 for this platter! They’ve already raised the price, and I ordered a half BBQ pork, half roast duck as a combo. (They only gave me 5 pieces of duck !!) On top of that, they filled half the plate with veggies as filler! We’ve been coming to this place for 4 years, but the food and portions are nothing like they used to be. Charging this much for such a skimpy portion is a total rip-off! If you don’t want to get disappointed, I recommend you don’t go to this restaurant. I’m so beyond disappointed—I will never coming back!!!!!
Excellent, Definitely authentic, Will always come back, Especially HOT N SOUR SOUP WITH GREEN ONIONS
It's great, I've been going here since I was young. The service is very nice. The atmosphere is nice and calm and the food is delicious
