my favorite noodle spot right now!!! i love tomato egg everything, their tomato egg hand pulled noodles are so good... especially on a rainy night like tonight. the tomato egg sauce is so silky smooth and balanced!! it's sweet, savory, tangy, and goes perfectly with the thick bouncy noodles. the noodles are so fresh (ive been told you can hear the slap of the noodles while theyre preparing them some days!!) and their flavor is so good, not starchy at all, just a perfect light flavor to carry the sauce. honestly havent tried anything else here but I would love to in the future... if you like tomato egg you NEEED to try this place!!

super quick service for the time I went (~8pmish). the place is a bit quiet but it's peaceful. the decorations are so pretty!!!

Not too big of a place but both the food and price is good! Been here a few times now and I haven’t been disappointed. If you look at the prices they can start off to about $8-$12 for each item, which is usually at least $15 now everywhere else. There is usually 1 or 2 people working and they are usually quite attentive. The place is modern and clean.

I tried the “Speciel Hot Noodle” (yes it’s spelled that way) and it was just a bowl of deliciousness in each bite of noodle. It didn’t have meat, but it was ok because they have some sides you can order which was really good as well. Just note that you have to go order that as I don’t really see those dishes on the menu. (Beef tripe. Seaweed, etc.) It seems like everything you order you can pretty much add a cooked egg, so if that is your jam don’t hesitate to do so.

Can’t wait to try other bowls, looking forward to my next visit. Until next time!

amazing xian restaurant. i had the paomo (pita bread soaked in soup) and the rou jia mo (pork burger) and they were both really good. i especially love the rou jia mo. i’ve tried multiple xian places in the SGV, and this one is pretty good. the food is cheap for how huge the portions are!

⭐ 1 Star — Absolutely Disgusting Experience!

I walked in ready to enjoy a nice meal, but instead was greeted by one of the rudest, most unprofessional servers I’ve ever encountered. The short, heavyset waitress refused to seat me and treated me with outright hostility — it was shockingly obvious that her attitude was racially motivated against white customers.

I’ve eaten at hundreds of Asian cafés across SoCal and have always had great experiences — but this place? Completely different story. The energy here was bitter, the service nonexistent, and the discrimination impossible to ignore.

I left in disbelief that a business in this day and age could treat people this way. What a total disgrace. I wouldn’t recommend this dump to my worst enemy. Save yourself the disgust and go literally anywhere else.

Tasty Xi’An is a legit spot for bold, authentic flavors. The hand-pulled noodles are perfectly chewy and the spicy lamb burgers are a must-try. Every dish feels fresh and full of character. Service is quick and the vibe is casual — perfect for a noodle fix or sharing plates with friends. Highly recommend for anyone craving real Xi’an street food in the SGV!

We drive an hour to get here. It's worth every minute. We come for Saturday lunch, there's (for now) always a table available. We love the food. It's savory, spicy, rich, delicious, and priced super competitively. If you don't speak Chinese, use our pictures and enjoy our hidden secret (but be prepared for the hot spicy flavors!)

I often order their food, the taste is good and the price is good! But the portion of the Shanghainese steak I ordered today was too small 😂😂😂

Huge bowl of hand pulled noodles for $8? Unbeatable value and taste. I could literally eat here everyday for the rest of my life and just stop cooking.
