service needs improvement, had to ask for everything (like side dishes and water) and when asked she was not too happy (she was busy talking with another employee and eating). ordered tofu soup, tasted good but the rice did not come in stone pot like the better korean tofu places. they had the tv's on the whole time

I never write bad reviews on yelp but this place has the worst service. I been coming to the place probably once a month. This place was never full therefore I like to sit at a particular place.
This older waitress was never really happy that I picked where I want to sit but since it was never full I felt I had every right to sit where I want just cuz she might need to walk a little further. I gave a good tips as well.
This past Saturday we went there that lady won't let me sit where I normally sit
You should see her face and I was afraid she might spit in my food.. Therefore I left, they no longer will have my business. She is just a very unhappy person. That's why it was never full....

This is a soondubu (spicy silky soft tofu soup) restaurant like BCD chain. You can order combo menu with a meat or fish entree with a version of soondubu soup. You can select the spicy level and toppings for the soup. I thought the soup is really good but the meat dishes except for the LA rib were too sweet. Ban Chan (side dishes) were just average. For Diamond Bar I think this outlet is fine. There is plenty of parking in the shopping mall lot.

Clam tofu soup was really good.

Good food and portion size. I liked the sides. Nice and clean place, friendly staff.

Worth the 1.5hr drive.
