Afghan Restaurants in Downey, CA

“I have been coming to this establishment for a couple years now. It’s one of our faves and we find ourselves here quite a bit. It’s family owned and the meat is halal/zabiha. It’s located in Downey and the space inside has a decent amount of seating. They cater as well and I am pleased to say their catering food is as good as eating it inside the restaurant.

My fave items are :
⭐ Chapli beef kabob- it comes with rice or bread
⭐ Mantu (meat filled dumplings) with lentils on top
⭐ Potato Bolani- potato filled paratha (bread)
⭐ Qabuli Pulao- rice with lamb shank
⭐ borani banjan- egg plant dip
