“recommended to me — I wasn’t disappointed. There was a bit of a line when I arrived, but it moved quickly and the staff were helpful, even with all the hustle. The ordering process was super easy, and the space felt clean and welcoming.

The cookies themselves? Genuinely excellent. Big, warm, and packed with flavour — definitely lived up to the hype. I tried a couple of the weekly specials and would’ve gone back again if I’d had more time in Downey.

Nice stop if you’re travelling and want something sweet (or very American!). Great location too — easy to find and plenty of parking nearby, but we walked as hoteled in the local area“

“I was impressed how one girl delivered exceptional service on such a busy Sunday. Very swiftly yet calm and helpful to indecisive customers. I had the dulce de leche first and it was amazing and the freddo expresso transported me back to Greece. Not everone gets it on point. I had to go back for more after my lunch and I got a little creative and created my own and was glad to see that someone else was there to assist the young girl out.“

The corn is the right kind and they prepare it very well but they didn’t put lime juice in my esquites which isn’t very good. Maybe they forgot.

Service is very good.

“Soooo delicious!! Ordered to-go & took us a little over 20mins to get home & surprisingly my Shaved Iced dessert was still frozen! Very satisfied with how everything tasted. I ordered the Green Tea Snow with Oreos, Strawberries & Popping Boba combination. I loved it. I also ordered the Pistachio & Matcha Green Tea Macarons & the Milk Tea. The Pistachio Macarons & Milk Tea was delicious. Definitely recommend. (Didn’t get to try Jesse’s Breakfast)“

“I absolutely love coming here for funnel cakes! My favorite is the Strawberry Sundae, with fresh strawberries and a scoop of creamy vanilla ice cream on top—it is just heavenly. The portions are large, so I usually share with friends since it is hard to finish alone. Next time, I am excited to try one of the chocolate options.
