The chicken chunk burrito was good, but I was a little disappointed that the chicken was actually shredded rather than in chunks.

The hard shell tacos are the best! Idk what they put in them but I can eat them all day with the salsa. Friendly service as well, always help you with a smile

The meat and tacos are bland. I bought the asada and carnitas dinner plate with two extra tacos each on both meats. Embarrassing to call this tacos. I was expecting juicy and well seasoned meat, the traditional onions and cilantro, with slices of lime and pickled carrots and radishes. The Salsa has no taste it's covered in iceberg lettuce and tomatoes that taste like it was suppose to be a burger on the tortillas and made the meat taste like it was dunked in water and taken out after thawed. The rice also has no taste. No thanks, first and last time.

This place really got into shrinkflation. The portions used to be a very good size. Now the prices went up, and portions got small.

Love El Taco. There was a location near my house in Anaheim, but it closed , another location in Orange closed . Now I hope this location in Downey stays open. I can visit it before I go to work in the evening.

Place is a rip off!! A plain chicken burrito for 10 bucks? I'll get a bigger chicken burrito with rice, beans, cheese, gauc and sour cream on it INCLUDING a small drink for $12.00 elsewhere. First and last time at this place.

El Taco is one of the few places that still has descent tasting food, many other fast food establishments have changed so much , the taste of the foods are not the same at all and that's a big deal because I myself will go to a specific place because of the taste or way that their food tastes or is prepared or because of an ingredient that may be used and also because of the customer service. These days a smile seems to be one of the things missing from most places, for example, the Popeye's Chicken on Florence Avenue in Bell is probably one of the worst customer service experiences we've ever had with such a young crew which should be energetic and full of smiles is the totally opposite, after the 3rd time we knew we weren't just having a bad day. The young lady that was helping at the drive through window Never once said Thank You nor did she even give eye contact, she gave us our change turned and actually slammed the little acrylic window shut, No Smile, No Eye Contact, No Thank You and rolled her eyes 👀because we asked for condiments ... Wow, I just like the wings and Church's Chickens recipe has changed.
So Disappointing 😞 😕
