The House of Marissa's Cake

I wanted to get a graduation cake for someone close to me, and a friend of mine recommended this place. I got in contact with the owners, and they were really courteous and knowledgeable in answering my questions and needs. I felt taken care of, and I really appreciated that because I really wanted to make the cake and the experience feel special. As for the taste, we loved it. I will be back to connect with them for future special events because I feel they earned my business.

For me the experience was bad,,, i got a cake for my daughter's birthday,, i took the num to put on top of the cake,,, n i order a peruvian dessert,,,, i went to get the cake,,, the owners we're not there,, i think they were their kids,,, well they didn't know where the nums were,,,,, called the owners no body knew,,, n the day was so hot the dessert i order,,, as soon they took it out the fridge it melted. I think they didn't know how to meke the dessert.

1⭐️ because they miss place my order ticket
I whent there the day and time I requested and wasn’t ready. The guy at the register said they will make the order just to give him time which I said that was fine and he also delivered how ever they never apologized to me also the cake was ok how ever for 100 dollars this cake is really simple I paid extra for strawberry inside the cake and we got thin slices of strawberry I have to say we got like 5 strawberry In total I got cake of the cake cost$$$$ if is good I can pay higher price but these is unacceptable I will never buy here again

This bakery is fantastic. I recently ordered a large vanilla cake for my daughter's graduation party-- the cake design was professional looking, beautiful, and tasted delicious. Moist, flavorful, and not overly sweet. The shop was very clean and pleasant, employees were friendly, and they were kind enough to expedite my order. Everyone at the party loved it!

Process of ordering the cake was good. I was told that she was going to use non edible pictures on the cake which I was like ok my daughter can put them in her wall but apparently they where changed to edible pictures which is no big problem. 4 stars because in our messages we ordered chocolate fudge with vanilla custard but I was just a chocolate cake not moist but not dry either. Everything else it was ok none went to waste.

I was looking for a freshly made cake for my granddaughters 3rd birthday. It was very last minute, but I found Marrisa’s Cakes in Downey. I walked in and noticed the nice cake models on display. I also was able to see a customer’s cake that had just been finished and it looked really nice! Most of all I had been treated with quick and wonderful service! I am hoping that the cake is as good as my experience!

Ordered a custom made cake and it is exactly what i wanted. Beautiful presentation but when it was time to cut the cake and eat it, i was very disappointed! Very dry and did not like the flavor. I was upset..

Excellent customer service and there is a variety of products upon reservation, my guests were happy with the cake, the sandwiches and the empanadas. I recommend it!!

Order the cake last minute for a last minute wedding. I was expecting much BUT they far exceed my expectations. Thank you for the beautiful cake and it tasted wonderful!

Got a dozen cake pops, way overpriced for the quality $47, they looked pretty, but that’s about it! Too dry! I don’t think I’ll use them again!!!
