I've enjoyed coming to this establishment for years. The food and service has always been great. Lately I have noticed that the restaurant itself is rundown and needs to be remodeled. Other than that, business is good.
This is my favorite place to go to with my husband when we are visiting family in this part of LA! Anything we order here is delicious and high quality. Our favorite is the steak though! Generous portion of both steak and sides. I love the mashed potatoes especially, and they have fresh squeezed OJ as well. The menu variety is plentiful, in my opinion, the food quality is actually better than Urth cafe, which we also dine frequently. The coffee drinks and desserts are a 10/10...
The food is delicious! Portions are a GOOD size. It is a popular and busy spot and for good reason.
Order at the counter, they bring your plate. Hardly any staff in the dining area. Took some time before we could ask for water. Everyone had leftovers to take home.
