We stopped at a little store on Hwy49 and before leaving I ask the guy about local restaurants where we could grab some lunch. He recommended Coyoteville. He said they're doing some good things there and I can see why. The guy who greeted us and took our order was really cool and really friendly. He even pointed in the direction of some beautiful lakes further up Hwy49! If that wasn't enough, the food was really good!! I ordered the prawns and fries and they use real prawns not the prebreaded store bought shrimp most places use. My wife got the chicken strips and you could tell they were made there not prebreaded strips most places use. The fries were fresh cut too! I recommend this place to anyone who in the area and like good food and friendly service. We'll definitely be going back!!

Highly recommend! This place is the best and everything John makes is delicious, not from the area but would drive up to Downieville just to stop at his place. The buffalo wings, prawns and yakosoba are a definite favorite! Can’t wait to go back!
