“Sabrina and her daughter Sierra were so welcoming and accommodating! Had the Root Salad and Sabrina offered a glazed miso salmon on the top that she had extra of. It was Soooo good and beautiful. Had to come back for a yummy breakfast burrito and Bloody Mary. Definitely recommend this cute Cafe and will be back next time in Downieville.”

“Stopped in to get a coffee & was greeted by Kevin our barista. He was very knowledgeable & made a wonderful Chai latte. I was very impressed with the latte since it was made with soy & was very creamy & yummy. He was a delight to chat with about the town & how he loved living here. Great experience, can't wait to come back.”

“I like that I could use my phone and control the music that's pretty cool. Everybody here is very laid-back very cool. And I also like that I'm not judged because I do not drink, I'm given my soda water with lime with a smile Not sure what's going on with the lady in the window but I suppose there's a story behind it maybe one day I'll ask, I'm kind of scared to ask maybe I don't wanna know. So there's a nice little back area it's nice if weather outside is decent it's a pretty spot to go chill..”

“Everything was great. I put 2 stars for service only because the waitress had pulled her zip up long sleeve sweatshirt down way over her shoulder. Showing cleavage and appearing as if she had no top on at all. It felt really weird. I hesitated to place this review in case she is mentally ill and they seemed desperate for help. She had a very perturbed look on her face that day as if she was unhappy but we've seen her once before and that was the case back then too. Bikers filled the restaurant. Food was VERY tasty and the prices were good! I still suggest this restaurant for eating, it is excellent”

“Great small town bar and restaurant. Friendly service and great atmosphere. Alleghany is a wonderful mining town with a lot of history. Go check it out and visit Casey’s Place.”
