Hidden gem. Brought my Mom for a birthday dinner and this was perfect, great cocktails and food. Had the Old Fashioned and Tropical Rose cocktails. Halibut, braised short ribs, salmon and prosciutto wrapped pork tenderloin entrees were all fabulous! Recommend the orange crème brûlée for dessert.
Entertained my Pastor at my favorite restaurant and was not disappointed, as was expected. The Blackened Halibut Sandwich on the seasonal Winter Lunch menu was perfectly cooked and delicious. Had the Mushroom Veloute as my side rather than the offered salad, fruit or fries and it complemented the sandwich perfectly. My Pastor and my companion were delighted with the Briskin Club and Portobello Panini they've ordered. Thank you, 1913, for a job well done once again!
This restaurant is in the hotel at Hope Village, City of Hope, Duarte CA. They have excellent food and service and a well curated wine cellar. We always dine here when we stay at the hotel ( patients only at hotel). The staff are friendly and attentive. The menu changes seasonally. Small plates, salads, pasta and meat selections of pork or beef.

We came to dine in as a group of 6, and we had the portobello-focaccia panini and coffee
We absolutely loved it here – the portobello-focaccia panini and coffee were so good!
We appreciated the environment / ambiance and the unlimited coffee refills
The waitstaff was friendly, and their attentiveness and attitude were really nice

I've been a few times and I'm always impressed with the service and food. Nicely done and very tasty.
We came for the Christmas buffet and received amazing service from Dominic and the rest of the staff. He ensured that we had everything we needed to have a wonderful family meal.
We hope that business picks up in the next holidays season.

Restaurant in the hotel on the northwest most corner on the campus of City of Hope. There are a few tables indoors and about an equal amount outdoors on the patio with nice umbrellas available. Food is chef prepared, but also part of the Nourish program. Had the vegetable lentil, which was not full of salt, as soups usually are. Other seasonings were light and was a bit bland, which is good, because many people eating there are having cancer treatments, etc. Also had the steak with mashed potatoes and spinach. Steak was aged, had a nice seared, and was cooked perfectly. Potatoes were slightly cheesy and the spinach was flavored with salt. All delicious. My friend had the Lantern salad, which is similar to an Asian Chicken salad. It was crunchy and delicious.

I had to stay at the hotel where this restaurant is located as part of my City of Hope treatment. I was able to eat there because the food is so fresh and the doctor said that was the only place I could eat. The food and service is excellent!! I want to thank all of the staff, especially Priscilla, Tatiana, Marika, Leilani, Bryanan, Eddie, Domenic, Vincent, and Jocelyn. They went out of their way to make my lunches a great experience!

We really enjoyed this restaurant. They offer an array of cocktails and small bites during their social hour, which is until closing. The cocktails were fun and the food options, creative and tasty. The atmosphere, decor and feel was modern and tasteful. Also a comfortable place to be. However, the lighting didn't contribute to the vibe. It was too bright and took away, from the lovely, hanging light fixtures, that should have served as the main lighting. It also made it feel a bit like a cafeteria, and made one remember, that it was in a hospital environment. We were there for a girls night out, but for any special occasions, or celebrations this fix would make all the difference, for this restaurant experience.

The food was ok. My biggest complaint is that this restaurant is in the City of Hope hotel. Where cancer patients and their caregivers stay. The menu includes NOTHING for sick people. Would it hurt to offer a bland dish or two? Chicken soup? Please!

Food quality was good but not great. Our server was excellent, but our food took nearly 30 minutes to arrive.
Excellent experience. Food was delicious.
