This was our family go to until a horrible incident happened. I went with my mother after work we were party of 2 and we had to wait to be seated they were pretty busy so I understand. They didn't communicate with each other so other parties that walked in got seated even a party of 3 walked right in and got a table. We have been waiting going on 20 min. So I went and asked the worker we are a party of 2 and you seated a party of 5 and seated another party of 3 why weren't we seated we have been waiting for 20 min already. He had no answer and said talk to my manager. So manager came out and I told him what happened and his reply was we have to sit bigger parties first. So I told him the party of 3 is really no different from a party of 2 and they got seated on a table for 4 people. They had no answer really and they didn't say anything to fix it just looked at me like oh well. My and my husband and our 3 kids went for years to this restaurant and we never went back.

We love coming to the Duarte location! The servers are so friendly & familiar with us. I especially like this particular location because it has allt of background noise to mask my boisterous 7 year old boys loudness.
Great food, no doubt about it. Excellent soups for cold weather. Two things keep me from giving this a five star rating: 1) Atmosphere. It seems there is a TV on every wall and it's impossible to have a quiet spot to enjoy a sit down meal without being distracted. Also, most of the seating is open to the service area. 2) Price. I realize things have gone up across the board under Biden, but I still think they are $1 to $2 high on most menu items. They also charge extra for using a credit card. And finally, the suggested gratuity starts at 18% and goes up from there. When I was growing up, it was 10% to 15% for good service.
First time here at Duarte location. Was very inpressed with the Mole enchiladas. Been to several Mexicano Restaurants. And definetly, impressed! Mole is very tasteful, the richness of the roasted spices, chocolatey, roasted chiles with a kick to it, very saucey not thick mole. Definitely recommend it.Only down fall is dont like how the mens bathroom is right across sitting areas. Very disturbing when the mens bathroom opens. Should build a wall across that door. Other than that, food, service excelente!

This is one of the worst restaurants I have ever eaten at. I went there for the first time last Friday. The waiter who helped place the order had a bad attitude. If I took my order a little slowly, she would roll her eyes impatiently and waited for an hour before the meal was served. , the steak was seriously overcooked and burnt, and other side dishes had a bad taste. My Hispanic colleague also said it was a terrible meal and would not go to this restaurant again.

Really enjoyed the food it tasted homemade. Portions were huge. And the servers where Amazing. Don’t be like me and kept eating chips and salsa and got full before the food came lol.
