Every time I come here to pickup an order for DoorDash or Uber eats itâs always empty and probably I know why. The servers there never greet you, say hi or something; not even a thank you.

This is my families last time eating here. When they were in Pasadena, the same thing cost us barely 50 dollars less than a year ago⊠Why is this food so expensive now?
Two rib plates that come with two of the tiniest sides and a drink cost 70 bucks? Ridiculous. Also why have paper liner in the container and you still place the bread on the ribs to get soggy???
The man who took my order was nice. Very straight and narrow gentleman, no nonsense, and thatâs okay. The food took a little longer than it shouldâve, but he acknowledged it and apologized which I was also okay with.
But was the food work $70⊠absolutely not. I couldâve took my wife out to a restaurant and had an alcoholic beverage, and it wouldâve cost about what I paid for tonight and I definitely wouldâve got more food and better service. And the card machine asks for tips!? Why are businesses so greedy nowadays?
So disappointing. It looks like theyâve made all their containers smaller too. Not worth the drive to Duarte and wasnât proud of the money spent. Definitely converting to mom and pops spots in PasadenaâŠ. Rodneyâs, and Cliftonâs here we comeâŠ

Extremely rude service, staff doesnât understand how coupon codes work and refused to provide orders for my friends and I because they believed I âabused the systemâ, and would ârun them out of businessâ for utilizing a $5 off coupon on 3 small items. Lady kept saying I canât use the same coupon 3 times. I explained as best I could to them how these coupons were DIFFERENT one time use codes, I was NOT using the same coupon 3 times in a row. She even made the staff get out their phones to test it themselves! Yet after I was proved to be correct, they still declined to give me my order. Now as opposed to aforementioned, the excuse had changed to being because we used the codes under the same account as opposed to separate accounts. I was on the way to a friends house, and because T-Mobile Tuesdays provided this offer the same day we decided to redeem it together. I was the one picking up the order, so it makes sense that I put them under my name. The app allowed me to, after all. But apparently, now I had to bring the two other people with me. I offered to contact them, I even showed screenshots of their tmobile codes. Still not enough. She also started saying that because of a lack of order history on my app, she doubly would not give me my food. I tried to say that it was because I only created an mobile account for the couponâmy familyâs eaten here for super longâwe just never had the need for the app. But of course, I got cut off. I couldnât explain myself, and she just kept saying my friends had to be present. In the moment I just felt so defeated, I had no other options. Im not one for confrontation, so I just say âokay, I guess, Iâll call them and see what they want me to do.â Picked up my own order, and left the establishment. During this whole encounter the lady was STILL going on and on about the ways I would hurt their establishment by using these coupons. After thinking about it, this is crazy. I wasnât driving an hour to my friendsâ house and back just to pick up $10 worth of food. Weâre college students, we donât have the time nor money for this. I didnât go back. I shouldnât have been treated like this. There was really no good reason why this wasnât honored. Stressed me out so bad I ended up crying when I got in the carThis happened a little while back, but I think everyone deserves to be aware of this.
It was great food and great service canât complain the food was on point when you want to have bbq.

Saw this place and decided to try it out. Itâs usually the best places you stumble upon and this place didnât disappoint. Workers were very nice. The food was very delicious. I got the 3 meat combo and was surprised at the quality. The prices were very good considering how delicious the meat was. A hidden gem in my opinion. Definitely will be coming back to try other things.

I have been looking for a good bbq place and i think i found one! The sliced brisket is great. A little overcooked for my taste but i do understand more people prefer it medium. (Im a medium rare type). Mac and cheese was plalso pretty good. Ill def be back
