Me and my brother went there last week, the server was terrible, and her name is KIM. When we eating she keep stare us. Also we try to asked for something’s she just walk away don’t say anything. There sushi chef is have a lot problem one chef is called James. We try to asked him for change the sushi roll to soy paper and HE JUST SAY NO! And after that the chef and server was talking about us in back kitchen. we just want change to soy paper it’s all. TERRIBLE SERVER KIM AND SUSHI CHEF, NEVER GOING BACK AGAIN! ! !

Me and my girlfriend went to Heemo Sushi in the late afternoon on a Friday. It was our anniversary and I wanted to treat her well at a sushi place, after coming into the restaurant, the building looked nice, but after the waitress came to our table, the waiter name is Kim. The waiter had a bad attitude towards me and my girlfriend, the waiter randomly asked us without introducing himself and just said “What do you want” I told him our order which was the california roll, dragon roll, and rainbow roll. After placing the order, the food came in. I tasted the food and I almost threw up! There was a hair in one of the sushi’s, without thinking, I went to the front desk and asked them about the situation, the people in the front even had the guts to say “Maybe it was your own?” I instantly got furious. The sushi also was bad quality, the cuts wasn’t even, the sushi contents was also falling out of the roll, the fish wasn’t fresh as well. Never coming back again, LA County Health Inspectors has also been contacted.

Plenty of food for the price you pay for. This is one of the most fair trade places in all of LA. You get great food at a great price. They have multiple sushi rolls at different pricing and at first it seems expensive but upon receiving your order you'll see it's worth the price because they deliver with a great amount of food. They have specials to take advantage of as you pay $18+ for a good amount of food. Salad, miso soup, and a sushi roll with 4 more pieces of fish. The rolls are so filling and delicious that you won't regret your decision and the bento will be more than enough to fill you and potentially another person. This place definitely earns its tips.

Heemo Sushi is a gem in Chino Hills. All of their sushi are super fresh, creative and delicious. This place is my go-to place for sushi.
Excellent customer service and great California rolls.
Most other places have reduced the sizes of their rolls but not here.

The food here is so sad… got lunch here, the menu is deceiving both in terms of the food and pricing. I ordered sushi, and everything I got had more fried components than seafood. Prices were unclear or straight up not listed. Spider roll was 60% imitation crab. California roll was mostly mayo. Disgusting.

I took my family to Heemo. Mom enjoyed the baked scallops and 4 pc Volcano. My sister and son got the bento box, she chose salmon teriyaki, while my son got the beef teriyaki. Both box specials came with 4 pc California rolls, side salad, 5 pc mixed tempura, and miso soup. My lunch special was the 4 pc sushi, and Ninja roll. It also came with side salad, and miso soup. Everything was good, I just wish the sushi rice was a little softer and stickier so it would stay rolled. We also added the salmon collar which was grilled to perfection and came with a side salad. Our Server Harrison was nice and friendly. It was a casual dining experience. Parking was free and readily available. Restrooms are gender neutral.
