Jan. 23, 2024. 4 pm.Well my first time here. Awful. Just awful. I was excited to try the BBQ pork. Over cooked probably for days. I cook my pork with the Chinese pink marinade, that they use and it’s Delicious. I buy it at Smart & Final. I don’t over cook it for days. It’s too bad they do this. They know they will get a bad review but the owners do it anyway. Do not buy. Very tough. Like shoe leather. Why not cook a little at a time and not over cook? I am shocked they do this, wanting a bad review.So I also asked for Chicken & Green beans. I got 3 small bites of chicken. I even said to the young girl I want some chicken, not all green beans so I thought she would respect me by adding more than 3 small pieces of chicken. She did not. She did not respect me.SO…..a big fat ZERO.SO….$11.00 for rice, green beans, 3 bites of chicken and maybe 3 bites of over cooked pork.Don’t do it people. Go somewhere else.

I honestly loved the food. They have rice noodles which is not offered at Panda Express. They also have eggplant and tofu which is also not consistently offered at every location of Panda Express. And those are two of my favorites and they were delicious! Besides those two standouts for me, they have the regular Chinese fast food items: broccoli beef, orange chicken, fried rice, teriyaki chicken, chow mien, egg roll..etc.This fast food restaurant is located in a strip mall in the same plaza as Target. After you are done shopping at Target, stop by here to pick up lunch or dinner. I got the 2 item combo and it was $11.97 after taxes. Service was fine. The interior is simple and dated. It's more of a grab and go place. Check it out!

I gave 2 stars because the cheese wontons were delicious. Other than that, the service was the worst. As we walked in, I said "hello"- not one word back from the staff the entire time I ordered. She didn't tell me my total at the end nor my change amount- nothing! This is hands down the worst customer experience I have ever had, anywhere. The chow mein left a lot to be desired & that's my fave part of Chinese food! I won't go back.

Went to carmax to get a quote, had an hour to kill, so I walked around the target plaza nextdoor. Came across this little gem and decided to take a look, not because I was hungry, I was just curious. The inside looks clean and the food looked fresh. It's one of the very few that had shrimp as an option. Although they charge an extra 75 cents for the shrimp.The food wasn't very greasy or salty. Remember the 5 star rating is only for Chinese fastfood, so don't expect restaurant quality. The guy behind the counter was accommodating and didn't mind the fact we shared the food amongst three people.

I always order online and pick up to go. The only thing I don't like is when ordering online, everything shows as available and not until I show up to pick up order, I'm informed that an item isn't available. So after that happened to me a few times, I call them after placing my online order and confirm the items are available or not and am prepared to choose an alternative item if need be. The food is very good.

Walked in to get some white rice. I ended up opting for a large was charged 8 bucks. He first entered 5.... Then the price shot up to 8!! My review is based upon integrity. Won't be back here

When you want Chinese to go, Hong Kong Express hits the spot and it's way better than Panda Express. All your favorites but fresh ingredients and huge portions. You can get 2-3 meals out of a 3 item meal. Tucked in the side of the Target strip mall in Duarte near Monrovia so easy to overlook but do as it's really good.

Me and my dad have been coming here for years, I've prob tried everything already, and the wonton soup. There fast, the food is tasty and very affordable what more can you ask. When I'm feeling under the weather I usually come here for the soup, good amount of wontons and the taste is very comforting. If your looking for Chinese fast food def come by here.

Owner is rude and not helpful. The former owner was way, way better - friendly and caters to special food request. Too bad he sold it to this rude, new owner. I won't be coming back here again.
