The place is infested by hamas supporters very outspoken online. The name Amalfi is intentionally misleading to associate with

I went back with three of my friends to this place after few years and I saw only one more group of three. Pretty soon it became obvious.
Why? Both food and service quality tanked big time. We order New York steak, Rib eye, filet mignon. My rib eye was not even a rib eye. Additionally, this place charges 18% gratuity for the subpar service. Definitely, will not return back. I never been in this place for lunch, but dinner is over price.

I recently visited Amalfi Mediterranean
and was thoroughly disappointed. The atmosphere was dull and uninviting, with uncomfortably loud music and outdated decor. The service was painfully slow, and the staff seemed uninterested in providing a good experience. My food arrived cold, and the flavors were bland at best. The portion sizes were surprisingly small for the price, and I left still hungry. On top of that, the restrooms were dirty and poorly maintained. I won’t be returning and wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone looking for a decent meal. Save your time and money.

Waited over an hour for my food, only to receive the wrong order. The staff apologized but didn’t seem eager to fix it. Left hungry and frustrated

had high hopes for this place, but the food was bland and overpriced. To top it off, the staff was rude, disrespectful and seemed uninterested in providing good service. Would not recommend

Medium experience. Open buffet is all about salads and appetizers, needs enhancements.

I was looking for a new place to try and this caught my attention. Actually, the picture of a burger did. Decided to give it a try.
Unfortunately my friend and I got in right after a table of 12 and they ordered first. Thus, our food most likely took more time than usual to arrive. We waited at least 15 minutes. And when the food came, the order was a bit mixed up. I wanted chicken shawarma with rice, but got fries instead. My friend wanted beef shawarma with fries, but got rice instead. No biggie. They quickly brought a huge plate of rice for me. That was enough rice for 3 meals for me.
Not only was the presentation great, the taste was excellent. My friend and I enjoy going to the Kebab Shop to get something similar. I tasted my friend’s fries and they were crispy. Our server even offered more sauces and I got a garlic sauce. I believe the garlic sauce was different from the white sauce that was already on my chicken shawarma.
The only two things that it’s lacking are: 1) It takes longer to get the food than the Kebab Shop, but I can always order takeout ahead of time. 2) It does not offer a beef/lamb combo shawarma. But I would say this place clearly has the upper hand: better tasting food, more in portion, and free pita breads. I would even say this is now my favorite place for shawarmas in tri-valley.
I have been trying to eat healthy so I was actually looking for some veggies. After finishing the meal, I asked the server and he said I could substitute the sautéed vegetables for rice. Great! I plan to try the beef shawarma with sautéed veggies next time.
