Wonderful ambiance and great food. Been here for couple of times, and we had nothing but good experience. Once during a togo thali order the curries were too oily, greasy and quantities felt much less than dine in experience. However the dine in day curries were pretty good, the chicken curry and parata was good too. At the end, we had their masala butter milk which was excellent in taste but it was pricy for the quantity served.

Terrible food yesterday. Every single item was stale!! The Vanjaram Meen Fry, Chicken Lollipop, Chettinad Chicken Masala all three were horrible. Couldn't eat more than 2 bites, trashed them! They were sooo stale and tasteless! Diwali dinner gone waste 😡😢

For me this is One of the place where I can enjoy the best authentic food in bayarea. We went for Sunday breakfast and ordered appam with paaya. While the flavors were decent, the paaya portion was surprisingly small, which was disappointing. For the price charged, it didn’t feel worth it. On the positive side, the tea was very good, and the sweet was enjoyable. I’ll avoid visiting for a while, though I might still recommend the tea.

Anjappar is an absolute gem! Their mutton biryani made with Jeeraga Samba rice is outstanding authentic, flavorful, and just like what you’d get in Chennai, India. Every bite is perfectly spiced and the rice is cooked to perfection. The overall experience, from the food to the service, is top-notch. We ordered chicken lollipops, full meal with mutton chicken fish and egg masala, kizhi porotta and kothu porotta. Chicken lollipops and kothu porotta was okay. But kizhi porotta and full meal was totally waste. I won’t recommend to anyone or visit this restaurant again.
