I liked the white modern interior design. I enjoyed the glass noodle appetizer. I got the salmon jaw really enjoyed it. The fish was juicy. Someone in my group got the omakase and they said that the rice was a little dry. Everyone else who got tendons really enjoyed them. I liked how we had a water pitcher and a ?barley? tea pitcher at the table so that we could serve ourselves. My party also liked how there were pickled vegetables dishes at the table that we could help ourselves to.

Ari Sushi is a bright, modern, and sleek sushi restaurant in the Shops At Waterford plaza. This is a busy plaza, so parking may be hit or miss - it is also an awkward plaza to navigate through, especially at night (some lanes may be one way). I did a to go order ahead of time to avoid waiting, but the order was still not ready when I arrived and it took awhile. I ordered their kani nigiri, sake nigiri, and sake/salmon roll. It was a bit pricey for what I got - about $27. The sushi had wasabi in it, which I did not like and wished I knew ahead of time. Other than that, the salmon tasted decently fresh and at least the sake/salmon roll came in 8 pieces instead of 6 pieces, but it still did not justify the price (I feel like you are paying for the ambience as well, so maybe next time I would have to dine in for that experience).

Not sure what the hype is for this restaurant. Their bowls are okay--a bit lacking in flavor.

Ordered Soft Shell Crab Tendon, Anago Tendon, Aria Sushi Full Plate, Dublin Spider Roll, Ari Bulgogi Plate, Spicy Tuna, and several other dishes, and all tasted pretty good except for the Ari Bulgogi Plate. Obviously, not being a traditional Korean restaurant, it lacked the Bulgogi flavor a bit. The self-serve ginger and garlic cart next to each table to get refills was helpful since I didn't need to ask the waitstaff for refills. Based on my first visit to Ari Sushi, the only negative comment is the strong smell of deep-fried tempura inside the restaurant. As soon as you walk in, you can't avoid the smell, and it stays with you the entire time you're there. They need to turn on the fan and/or get a better ventilation system installed in the restaurant.

Nice and simple restaurant. Ramen is more Korean taste than Japanese but nonetheless, well prepared with thick and flavourful broth. The nigiri with very fresh and good quality fish was star of the food we ordered. Service staff was polite and attentive. Deserves another visit again.

First off I am only reviewing the Spicy Ramen. I have tried a lot of the other menu choices and I would recommend those options first and foremost...Tendon bowls / sushi /rolls. Back to the ramen review. This is not your Japanese style ramen broth, flavor was weak and very little spice. The noodles were not chewy and didn't seem like they were fresh noodles. The toppings were also meh....a ton of bean sprouts and a little bit of everything else. The meat topping is Korean beef but it was tough and very small amount. I would have expected a better portion of meat for 18 dollars. I definitely recommend coming here for what they are know for but stay away from the Ramen .

I really like this place's tendon, you get a bowl of tempura with rice, the tempura is very well done, the batter is light and not too greasy. Wish there's one closer to fremont so we don't have to go all the way to Dublin! I love their pickled garlic as well, there's no strong garlicky smell after you eat it!

Came here for Monday lunch. Parking lot available. Very clean simple decor. We were seated promptly. Hot water and cold water containers at the side, easily assessable. Self served pickled ginger, shallots, cucumber. We ordered the crab tendon and Ari tendon. Came with salad, miso soup, dessert. Very authentic taste, brought me back to Japan. Would totally come back to try other foods.

Fast service, tasty, self serve options for tea and ginger, minimalistic and modern decor. A year later for our second visit but still loving every item of our meal~

Food was spectacular and delightful. I ordered the Salmon Valley Roll and Cold Soba. The salmon was so fresh and delicious, absolutely wonderful! The soba noodles were amazing as well, they were nutty and carried a perfect chewy texture. Their starting salad had the most flavorful corn dressing on top, super yummy and it was honestly just the best salad I've ever had. The meal also came with a sorbet at the end which was so refreshing and light. It was the perfect finish. Not to mention, the service here was awesome, super friendly and nice. The whole vibe of the restaurant was so warm and comforting. Would I come here again? Yes. 10/10 would recommend

Updating my review for my visit on Dec 20. Ari Sushi no longer has the large crowds it used to have, so it seems the newness has probably worn off. We ended up getting seated at the farthest back table, which is next to the restrooms. It smelled musty in the area... not sure if it was the restrooms or if it simply wasn't clean. There were a few flies/gnats around, too. The staff regularly wears face coverings, which is nice, but then they need to start speaking more loudly and pronouncing their words more clearly. I barely could hear our server. That being said, you can figure out what they're there for, so it's easy to order. I just pointed at the menu. Over the months, the salad has gotten smaller and the japchae has gotten over 50% smaller. They seem to be very reserved in how much they offer here. The miso soup is about the same. Even the oba ice ball at the end is a lot smaller. I had the new Tteok-Bok-Ki plate which was on their new Winter menu. $20 for this felt steep, but I wanted to try their special menu. I was expecting a plate, not 3 separate bowls. Of course, the soup is in a bowl, but the other items came out separately and at different times, which is really weird since it's one menu item. The seaweed rolls were bland. The ugly kimbap (rice balls) were not very good at all. It seemed like the rice was cooked with too much water and was really mushy. So imagine eating a ball of mushy rice with flavorless nori. The soup was alright. This is a drastic change from our first visit just over a year ago during their soft opening when I gave a 5-star rating, so it pains me to give a 2-star rating. We eat here at least once a month and it is not cheap. For two of us, it's easily $60-70 after tax and tip. Now I'm not so sure we will return again - I just don't like the trajectory this is going and other reviews seem to point in this direction too.

My friend brought me to this new spot in Dublin during the holidays. We went during lunch on a Friday afternoon and around noon, the place was packed. I tried their Ebi Tendon, which is one of their signature menu items. This came as an assorted tempura bowl that includes sushi rice, shrimp, squid, sweet pumpkin, eggplant, shishito pepper, seaweed, and a soft boiled egg. This menu item also includes hot tea, miso soup, salad with corn dressing, and a palette cleanser dessert. These additions are small, but it's a nice add-on for a well-rounded meal! The restaurant is very modern, Japanese minimalist interior which makes for cute photos :3. Service was nice and attentive, plenty of parking. A solid restaurant to try out if you're in the mood for some Japanese/Korean fusion food!
