We moved into Avalon and having this gem right by us has been amazing. Our family stays at the holiday inn and we get breakfast together all within walking distance. The food is always fresh and really good! The staff is always friendly and welcoming with smiles. At night the bar is fun you can grab a drink and relax here. Don’t miss this spot! The burgers and eggs are the best. To go is quick and easy.
Wheelchair accessibility: Ramps and open area for wheelchairs if needed.

The fireplace doesn't work but the bartender is great and makes up for it. The food is decent and served pretty quickly. I had the special for the week and it was not bad but it was only fish and chips. My friend had a steak and it looked good with a nice cook on it.

Located inside the Holiday Inn. This is a good choice if you're not looking for anything specific.Pros: Service was fast and friendly. Full bar. We ordered salads and they were large, with plenty of toppings and looking very fresh. The grilled chicken was really tender and well-marinated. Good value, as most entrees were about $12 before tax and tip, and a large glass of wine was $8.Cons: Limited menu with a few apps, 5 sandwiches, 5 salads. Wine list just OK with only 2 reds.
Food was delicious.
Excellent!!
Server was excellent, patience with kids
Although they were unable to seat indoors and were operating with only half their menu (this the four stars), the food we were able to order (club sandwich, Southwest chicken sandwich and fries) were well above average in quality and served with apologetic smiles. I would love to eat here again when this second wave of the pandemic is over.I've eaten at many hotel restaurants over the past 40 years and for price and quality, this one is near the top of my list.I hope they keep up the good work and wish them well.
Food was good, even dine in came in styrofoam boxes. Super nice staff!
We enjoyed Happy Hour and dinner at this restaurant recently, while staying at the Holiday Inn. I went exploring after we checked in, and found the bar open for Happy Hour, around 4:30pm. Fun conversation with the bartender, Jesus. I kidded him about the name of the establishment being an Irish town --- and where was the Irish food on the menu? (having recently returned from Ireland) --- and he took everything in good humor and explained the entire menu to me. There was nobody there but me and the staff then. He advised me it would get busy for Monday Night Football. I had a $4 glass of Sauvingon Blanc (quite good) and he encouraged me to return for dinner, with my travel partner. On return, we did find a few more people there. For dinner we had Daniel as our waiter. Again, outstanding and very personable service. Our dishes were a veggie burger and tuna melt. Both $8. Very reasonable. The tuna melt was tasty but a bit small. My burger was quite large (could barely finish it) with all the fixings. Burger itself was a bit tasteless, but with full slices of everything else (tomato, lettuce, pickles, onion), it made for a healthy substantial meal. As others have said, the restaurant has a standard "hotel eatery" atmosphere, but it worked well for us that evening and we almost wished we were staying later the next morning, to enjoy their breakfast buffet. Also $8. The restaurant was much better than we expected (having spent plenty of time in hotel restaurants over the years) and our two servers made our evening a treat. Also, it was a relief, after a long drive, to not have to get back in the car to search out another restaurant a few blocks away. We observed only one other "real" restaurant within walking distance. It's not what I'd call a "destination restaurant" but it certainly satisfied our hunger, our special dietary needs and offered a friendly place to relax.
Good service in the buffet, very attentive staff. Room service was fast and the pot roast tasted just like mom used to make. Only con is the price, but not bad for a hotel restaurant.
