We’re so happy this place opened up!
If it’s your first time here, just a heads-up — you place your order at the counter, then grab a seat and they’ll bring the food to you.
We ordered the sweet and sour 8 piece boneless, which was sooo good, and the rose tteokbokki with cheese — also delicious, though a bit spicy for us. They also served ginger pickle on the side, and it paired perfectly with the food!
Customer service was great, and the restaurant was clean and welcoming. The only downside was that the restroom could’ve been cleaner.
Other than that, we had a wonderful experience and can’t wait to come back!
07/6/25 UPDATE:
We came back today for a late lunch, and the customer service was top-notch! While we were waiting for our food, the cashier checked in with each table to make sure everything was okay, such a thoughtful touch.
The staff stayed on top of cleanliness, constantly wiping down tables as customers left, and as customers exit the employees said, “thanks come again,” made me feel they acknowledged each person! This time the restroom was clean.
First time we tried the kimchi fried rice, and I loved it! It came with a fried egg and chicken which was good. I also ordered my favorite, the golbi chicken :)
Spacious and clean restaurant. Counter order, paper plates and plastic forks - not my type of sit-down restaurant, but ok.
Kimchi fried rice was good and the Rosé Ddeok-Bokki was our favorite. Their fried chicken was good - crunchy and juicy. However, both flavors had a weird gasoline/sulphur taste. It's not very strong but it's noticeable. Might be the oil they used, or the marinade on the chicken.
Great place to hangout with friends, though do go when there is less foot traffic as the line can get pretty long and so does the wait time.
Yangnyeom chicken tastes just like the one I eat in S.korea. 👍😊
Wait times at this location are ridiculous. 1 hour and 30+ minute wait for 8-piece wings and a fry. Online ordering needs to be shut off earlier if you can’t keep up with the demand.
Boneless had no chicken in it so not ordering that again. I’ll give it another chance but man that was mid!
Super grossed out! I live walking distance to this place and was excited to try it out. Got the large 24 piece wings to go. They only allowed one flavor for 24 piece, not a big deal but usually that large of an order they usually allow at least two flavors you can get. The cashier said it would take 30-35 minutes which again was not a big deal… The huge deal was sitting and watching the male worker behind the counter who prepares the food to go out picking his face the WHOLE entire time! He had a glove on his left hand and a bare right hand. He would non stop touch his face and scratch himself… it was super obvious and gross. Then I can see my chicken come out and the box is open so HE had to touch the chicken and box to close it! My kids and I were shocked and disgusted! We walked out but we all knew we couldn’t eat it so decided to get a refund. The cashier gets the manager for the refund and he comes up and first thing he says, “what seems to be the problem”, seemed abrupt and no customer service skills. He was like okay we will just void it out. I got the refund but no customer service at all to try to make this right. He just wanted me to confirm who the male employee was. Wasted 30 minutes of my life and disgusted. Will never go back here and it is so close. A new restaurant that doesn’t train employees on how to handle food and management who doesn’t know customer service skills.
Food excellent
