I went to Cakes and Bakes to get a 2lb cake, advertised for $35. I chose a Rasmalai cake and was immediately shocked that the cost was $60, not the advertised $35. It was a birthday cake so there was no provision of candles and/or matchsticks, you had to buy those extra for over $10. Then I was told that if I paid by cash there would be no service fee. Who in this day and age carries cash?
I also ordered pani puri which was an exorbitant $10. This is $10 USD!!!! So a plate of pani puri costs roughly Rs800 when compared to India. Worst case, they don’t even provide extra pani (water). It’s this kind of predatory and false advertising coupled with atrocious service which leaves you with nothing but contempt for this shop. Won’t be visiting here again.

Good exp : We ordered boppatlu which tasted really good.
Bad exp: We ordered eggless Mango cake. The cake was hard like corn bread. And the manager forgot about Mango flavor. It was plain and hard. When i contacted him he did not even apologize and says he will give $30 credit from him store, says he spend a lot of time decorating the exterior. This is for a baby shower event and no body liked the cake. We spend 250$ of this cake. If you need eggless cake this is not the place. They are not good with eggless cakes. Since no one like 50% of cake went to trash.
