They have decent curry, the katsu is not under or overcooked and the rice has good texture.
BUT, this place has changed from a self service model to serviced. I dont see why this is necessary. Curry rice isnt a sitdown service meal -
just look at how they do it in japan, they dont even have a person taking your orders. The service model just pressures customers to tip and business owners to underpay their workers. Will not be going back.
Whoever be giving this spot one star need to go cook for themselves.
The curry is the right level of spice and the consistency is balanced.
The potato and beef croquettes stole the show though. Light, crispy, crunchy and not too oily of salty. And the potato filling just melts.
Staff is quick and friendly. Atmosphere is no frills, so there’s no distracting from the comfort that is their curry.
Absolutely terrible experience every time. The staff is consistently rude and unhelpful, showing no interest in customer service. The food is mediocre at best—every time I ordered the chicken, it tasted sour and spoiled. The pork was dangerously undercooked, raising serious concerns about food safety. I genuinely feared getting food poisoning after each visit. This place clearly cuts corners on quality and hygiene. Save your money and your health—do not eat here.
Have been searching for a Japanese curry spot that has a CoCo壱 feeling. This absolutely nailed it. I will definitely be back!
Love the food here, but Demiya has switched from an experience where you order at the counter to one where you sit down and get waited on (with expectations of a tip at the end of your meal), and I just want to say probably no one asked for this. Absolutely nothing has changed for the better, except that your water is refilled by a staff member.
Going forward, will visit much less or just get takeout.
Delicious food and fast service! The onigiri is also perfect for a quick to go meal!
Vegetarian options: Tofu and vegetable options. Also fish.

Been there for a few times, I think the food taste got better, crunchy, juicy.

Great food! However, the place was a bit small and we had to wait a bit. Make sure to go earlier to get a spot.

A hole in the wall that should be bordered up. Very poor customer service. Dismissive and uncompassionate about how they treat their customers. The food is subpar and unauthentic tasting. The restaurant lacks originality. And the staff don't interact with kindness and just want you to hurry up and leave.

This place was so great that me and my family have been here 4 times. Their curry is so good that I have had that multiple times when I went there. I can go there any day of the week. It is tricky to find because it does not have a sign and it is behind the Mexican restaurant. I will be coming back here multiple times over the weeks.

Honestly pretty good Japanese food!
The fried pork cutlet is now only half of its original size, half of it. It’s really a huge saving, the price is the same as before. Never go again.

The website has many broken links and doesn’t load, so unable to view the menu. Not sure if this is because I’m on mobile, but please fix links so customers can online order and see what’s on the menu. I would suggest having more Instagram presence too for this location.
