This place nails it! just like Ichiran in Japan! Rich, flavorful broth, perfect noodles, and that spicy kick hits just right. A must-try for any ramen lover

I am not entirely sure why this joint has a Japanese name, because it is basically a Hong Kong cafe style restaurant with some Japanese food offerings. Maybe it is trying to distinguish itself from the other dozen Chinese joints in the same plaza.
The Chinese food was great, awesome comfort food if you are from Hong Kong. I love the curry here, just the right amount of spice, rich and aromatic. Tender beef tendons. The snack dishes are just as authentic, octopus balls with the same curry, perfect chew and softness, I would love to eat those on a stick just like how they are served in the old ways.
The Ramens are good, the noodles are the curly egg noodle type that I like, the base broth was OK, pretty basic bone broth, clean. The pork was great, thick and torched, full of flavor. I would come here again especially when they have week day specials.

I had to write a review because the team at Fujiwara Ramen deserves all the praise. The ramen is incredible (get the Black Garlic Ramen, it's so good), but the service is what puts it over the top. These guys are SO on point. This is literally the first restaurant I've ever been to where they beat me to refilling my water glass before I even get to ask, every single time. It's a small detail, but it shows how attentive and genuinely nice they are. 10/10, my favorite spot in Dublin.

I love the food which was fresh and flavorful. Everything is right out of the pan. The ramen lacks some flavor. I prefer their curries, appetizers, and hong kong cafe food. Overall I had a good experience and will be coming back again

Was craving ramen and this place popped up.
Ordered the kuro tonkatsu ramen and it was excellent. A creamy broth with subtle flavors, yet not overly salty, crisp and chewy noodles, and melt in your mouth chashu pork.
Highly recommended as a ramen stop.

We visit this restaurant regularly for the ramen because it's the best in town! We also love their HK-style café menu, which features baked pork chop with tomato sauce over rice, chicken wings, and my favorite, Ovaltine French toast! I highly recommend this restaurant!
2nd time visit was horrendous. More than 1/2 the menu wasnt available and then they messed up our order and dropped a drink and soup down. We didn't know what was going on and it took long discussions to sort out we didn't order the combo. He then said they wouldn't charge the soup but will charge the drink. Pretty ridiculous and wont be back. Lots of better options and service around.
Had their ramen a long time ago, and it was pretty good. However, this review is focused on their Hong Kong cafe items.
Sometime in 2024, Fujiwara introduced Hong Kong (HK) style cafe menu. Wifey loves HK food so we had to try. We went with a few Hong Kong folks.
The fried chicken wings were legit and the fries were very crispy. The curry fish balls were not bad, but thought the flavor was a tad lacking. I had the baked seafood with white cream sauce and I liked it.
I went again recently and tried their curry ox tongue with rice. There were a lot of tongue pieces and tender enough with still some texture for chewing. What made my meal better was the Asahi draft beer.
Interesting that they offer both ramen and HK cafe food, but good enough taste for me that I would go back. Still tons of HK food items I would like to try.
It was so close to being good but some of the toppings has that taste food gets when left uncovered in a refrigerator. Any one who ever worked in food service knows the smell of a old walk in fridge, and some of the toppings tasted exactly like that. It pierced through the good flavors of the broth every time I found my self eating a bamboo shoot. I won't be going back.
We enjoy their ramen, nice broth and ingredients are foods.

First time to try the mazemen which is a broth-less ramen that hubby then described was like a Japanese version of pasta haha. In any case, it was delicious and I'm a fan. Definitely ordering this again next time we eat here.
Our other order was a butter scallop ramen. The broth was good and very clean tasting though to my personal taste, it could've used a pinch more of salt. Also got the HK milk tea, their version of which I liked.
Make sure to try the ovaltine french toast!

Their Hong Kong style foods are great and the peanut butter French toast dessert is surprisingly the best among bay area and even better than those I had at Hong Kong. Mike tea and lemon tea are high quality and even better if they were made by the owner team (special formula?). For Japanese food, the black garlic ramen and curry pork chop rice are my top choices. Be aware that they enforce a fixated 16% survice charge.

Excellent food (fish balls, baked chicken, katsu chicken ??????❤️?). Great service and good prices.
