Had a wonderful lunch date experience at this cute place and enjoyed good food. However, service could be improved. Server was not that friendly and had to be asked for tea many times; it felt like she was being bothered every time we asked for something.

Food: Actually pretty decent considering there's no good korean food in the East Bay.. I thought I actually found a regular Korean restaurant as I am fairly new in East Bay. Bibimbap, banchan, Yugaejang were decent however I thought the soon tofu soup was average.. I asked for med spicy, there was just no flavor, no veggies..I would not get this. Service: This is what totally got me. I'm Korean and used to BAD Korean service but I just tolerate it because it's just part of the culture unfortunately, for this reason alone I will never go back and all my other friends agree.. There were 3 empty tables, we were there for no more than 2 hours and the middle-age hostess with a mask told us we had to leave! There was one family of 5 that could have easily sat at the other 3 empty tables! We didn't leave and she came back and told us to get out. We sat at 5:30, waitress came at 6 to take our order, it took 30 mins to get our food and at 7:40 she was telling us to leave!!!! The family of 5 would have not even been able to sit at our table as it was a tight table for 4 so I had no idea what she was talking about in that they were waiting for our table.. There were two tables of 4 and 1 table of 6-8. Why couldn't they sit there?? WOW RUDENESS and unfortunately at that point we already left a tip. My one friend who never complains was appalled and was about to yell at the owner but we told her we will just write a bad review.. THEY ARE SO RUDE!!!!!! Service sucks.

Came on a Tuesday evening for dinner and we were seated immediately. Waitress was very friendly and she took our order accurately and in a timely manner. We ordered the bbq short rib and seafood pancake. Both dishes were delicious! Restaurant has cute interior decors and atmosphere is very welcoming! Just one minor thing was that we came in on a warm day and air conditioning was a bit inadequate. Otherwise the dining experience was excellent!

I came here twice in a week ! The restaurant located in the corner so it's not hard to see but it's right next to a liquor store if I remember it correctly. Service is good and fast. It's spacious ! We ordered the whole chicken soup with ginseng which was so good for a raining day. The chicken was so tender and easy to fall apart but it's quite small than I expected. We also got the spicy squid; hot and chewy. You can ask to have the side dishes refill many time you like. Definitely give it a try if you are in the area.

The food and the service is amazing! This is our Korean Bbq spot and we would never go anywhere else. The food is consistent and delicious!

This review is for the service. It's absolutely not a welcoming environment. I know they closes at 1.30pm, when i am done Working it was late so i took a taxi to go there. Got to the place at 1.02pm and the server Told me their dine-in has closed, i can only do take out. I ordered and asked if i can Sit to eat and i will make sure to finish before 1.30pm. The female server The Whole time had this cold face on and looked at me said "i can cancel your order." Hard to believe if that's how they face Customer. I would not Recommend this place due to service is an important piece for a restaurant.

Because of the cold weather lately, I have been craving a hot heart soup. I ordered the fish cake udon soup, it was so flavorful, hot, hearty, the service was great and the ambiance was clean and not too crowded.

We ordered take out which includes the seafood pancake and both styles of their wings. We were recommended to try this restaurant out as we were trying to figure out what to eat, and glad we took their recommendation. Loved the flavors of everything and how crispy the wings were. Only six wings per order, a little pricey but we're very flavorful and crispy.

Waitress yelled at our 2 & 6 year old for laughing and playing with each other. This was unacceptable and rude!!! She banged on the table, pointed at my 2 year old that barely speaks, and spoke over everyone in the room, "BE QUIET! BE QUIET!" I was shocked but spoke out against this inexcusable and nasty act. How dare she yell at a 2 year old for laughing with his brother. Not yelling, laughing. I beg everyone considering eating here, please drive down a few blocks to any other korean restaurant to support. This is probably the same waitress everyone else has spoken about in all the other reviews. Please do not support!! Protect your kids from receiving the belittling treatment this person feels they are allowed to do. She never warned or spoke to me about anything my kids were doing. They were doing nothing disrespectful to others or the restaurant. I will never support this place. I hope other kids will never receive the same treatment mine received. Take your kids elsewhere! There are better korean restaurants in the area. There is one right down the street! Horrible person overshadows the food with this type of treatment and service!

Crispy rice Bibmbop is the best! Like the ambiance too with the wood slats walls. We've always had good service when we went.

Overall taste is good. The only disappointment is that they use imitation crab as seafood in tofu soup. Other Korean restaurants would use squid, clam and oyster.

After coming here for the first time, this place quickly become our go-to place whenever we are craving for Korean food. Our favorite dishes from this place includes the seafood pancake - it's crispy, savory and packed with seafood. Their ginseng chicken soup is a comforting dish that warms your stomach. One thing to note is their closing time. While the official closing hour is 8:30, be aware that the last order is around 7:45/ 8. What sets this place apart is the consistent quality of the food and the warm inviting ambiance. Each visit leaves me not just full but thoroughly satisfied.

The rating is for takeout. We ordered and received burnt entrees (kimchee fried rice). I understand that the restaurant can be busy, but this is unacceptable. We have stopped going there.

I just would like to update my review for Go Goong, the family owned authentic Korean restaurant in Dublin. We have not been here for while as we were cooking at home more often. Great food quality! I really don't understand other recent negative reviews on this spot. We had seafood hot stone bibimbop and bbq short rib for the lunch. Highly recommend this restaurant if you are Korean food lover who cares about the food quality.
