Joes pho has others 2 locations which I all visit, high recommend to my coworker today, so we online ordered, but the website auto charge 20% tip as default options, and online order fee. For online order fee I get it, default set up of the tip options, it’s Unacceptable! Tips should be options not default! Especially to go Order! Complaint to the associates while I pick up the food. They credit me back, however without this will be even better! Thanks

We give this place a full 10 out of 10. We really appreciate that they stay open late, but honestly, the best part is the food. The broth and the variety of meats are spot-on. The meat is tender, flavorful, and the portions are incredibly generous. They give you almost a whole pound of short rib in one bowl, and the price is still under $20. That’s insane value.

We hope your business keeps doing well, and we’ll definitely keep coming back.

Topline: Decent pho, pricey, and management that kills the vibe

Tonight our weekly board game group of about twelve went to Joe’s Pho in Dublin after confirming on four separate calls that we could eat first and then play quietly. I suggested it because the room is huge with large tables, and my prior meals there were good. Dinner tonight was fine. Our server was friendly and the service was excellent. The pho was decent, but at twenty one dollars a bowl on average it is expensive. The space is the former Fuddruckers and is roughly ten thousand square feet. The dining room was almost empty the entire time. I counted about twenty diners besides our group in what looks like a one hundred fifty cover room.

After we finished eating, staff helped us move to a large table in the back. We paid about three hundred fifty dollars with tip and fees, and a few people ordered drinks and checked out the boba. We began setting up to play, exactly what we had cleared multiple times. A woman who seemed to be the owner or manager came over yelling that we needed to leave immediately. We showed call logs and explained that people who identified themselves as managers had approved it, including a same day confirmation. She said no one told her and then lectured us about the evils of gambling. We were playing board games, Finspan and a Yahtzee style game. Not gambling. We were quiet. The room was nearly empty.

I pulled her aside and explained we had confirmed this several times and that this is not how you build relationships with new customers. She grudgingly allowed us to stay, but the moment was gone and several people chose to leave anyway. Walking back with me after she said we could stay, she accused our organizer of lying and demanded she call the number to prove it. She answered the phone and then said she had not spoken with her, so she did not know. She added that they are a restaurant and people should leave as soon as they finish eating.

For a large and mostly empty room that charges premium prices, I expect basic hospitality and internal communication. Food is okay. Prices are high. Management was hostile and out of step with what we were told. We will not be back.

My meal: I had the bo kho banh mi. The broth was greasy and a bit chunky, and the bread was stale, though it softened in the stew and was filling. On a prior visit I had the sour brisket and the oxtail soup and both had rich, clean broth. It is a shame tonight missed the mark.

10/10 if you’re looking for a place to have really good pho with great atmosphere & great non-alcoholic drinks this is it! They have the coolest decor in town, great taste in everything. The owner is super nice and they are even helping the people who are struggling due to the government shutdown
Definitely come check out this place. We will definitely be back.
