We tried Johnny’s Donuts first, but then tried all the other local places due to other people’s reviews... like The Jelly Donut, Doughboy.... at all the other places, something just wasn’t right.. the dough was too dense, or the maple icing lacked flavor... now it’s only Johnny’s for us! Not too dense dough, not overly sweet, and the dough is cooked long enough to have that glow. And the owners are sooo nice. Thank you, Johnny’s Donuts!! Traditional donuts done very well and more importantly, delicious. The plain glazed and the more dense/cakey kind in maple and blueberry were very good. The service is fantastic and the donuts are delicious. The Apple fritter is a favorite and all their donuts are incredible. This place just kills it with the booths!
