Our very first experience with Afghan cuisine, and it exceeded all expectations! We chose to get takeout, and every dish was exceptional. The beef dumplings, chicken kabobs, and lamb curry were unbelievably flavorful, and even the lentils were perfectly seasoned. Beyond the food, the family who owns the restaurant was incredibly friendly and kind. We will definitely be back to explore more of the menu. Thank you for a wonderful meal!

I wish i could give 0 stars if possible, not worth the money n time. We came from union city with 5 kids to visit kr farms for halloween/ pumpkin patch then decided to go to khyberpass for dinner. Worst customer service ever, the lady was rude and not welcoming at all. The food is oily ,never seen afghan food so drenched in oil. we ordered potato bolani, combination kabob, qabuli pulao, chapli kabob. They all have same oily brown rice and same rice in qabuli pulao, no difference, beef tikka kabob has smell n not welldone ,bolani was really oily and spicy even though asked for mild , portions are so less than any other afghan restaurants in bay area. Forgot to take pics as kids were hungry. The worst thing is lady attitude as we came to eat free, continiously saying to kids to behave and be nice eventhough all kids are sitting n trying to eat that oily food. Picking plates from table while we were still eating and keeps saying to kids dont stand( standing close to table as they were done), even though restaurant was empty, now i get it why this restaurant was empty even on a saturday night. They charged 20% gratitude, thats too much for this kind of ridiculous service n food. Never coming back.

I’m so glad I decided to try this place! Some of the best Afghani food I’ve had in a long time. I ordered the Mantu and Chapli Kebab, and the portions were huge—absolutely delicious. Everything felt incredibly fresh, from the naan to the salad. The service was outstanding, and our host, Sultana, was warm, friendly, and welcoming. She was patient with explaining the menu to us and recommending what was good. We truly enjoyed our experience here and can’t wait to come back!

Decided to take my girlfriend here after not having been for about 4-5 years. Food was so good! We got the Mantoo, as I remembered that was my go-to, and it was so flavorful, as good as I remembered. Food could've been just a little bit warmer, but that's easy to overlook for me, as long as the flavor's there, which it definitely was. Our server was so nice and hospitable too! (Maybe the owner) She gave us some bread on the house:)

This is my go-to spot for Afghani food across all the options in the bay area. The price and quality are always on point, and the owner is a really sweet lady who always provides awesome service and a great chat. I've tried many items on the menu at this point, but my highlights are the mantoo, chapli kabob, and rice (seriously, the rice is so good). The food is always packed with lots of spices and flavor, and the portions are huge. I think this place is seriously underrated - quality has been consistent over the years. Definitely give it a try if you want some good Afghani food!
