Amazing sushi, and the staff is very kind, and accommodating. I highly recommend the more authentic rolls with raw tuna/salmon/yellowtail. It's a very safe place to be adventurous with trying food, and the quality is outstanding.Prices are right in line with a high quality sushi place, but it's easy to keep it cheap if you're on a bit of a budget.

Food quality has gone down hill. The teriyaki chicken was under cooked and most fatty pieces. California rolls were mushy. Been here a few times and wanted to like it, but not coming back.

I wish I read the reviews before visiting this restaurant. I decided to go there because it was around 3 and no other Japanese sushi place was open except them.Upon arrival, the place looks pretty dark on the inside and dreary but a server greeted me immediately and seated me. I received drinks fast and my order was taken fast as well.They made a mistake on my guests order which they recognized and immediately corrected without me having to point it out. Overall, the rolls were decent but not amazing.I had tempura with my bento box and the broccoli was overcooked and mushy. The chicken teriyaki was on the salty side.But I could have dealt with that. The worst part was having to swat away a bunch of flies while eating. There were so many gnats and flies that it made it super uncomfortable to eat there so I quickly paid and left.Service was good. Environment, not so much. And food was meh. Sorry but I won't be back and I don't recommend it to anyone.

I purchased a bento box with both the tempura having damaged bottom leaking everywhere and also the main entree as well. Disgusting black dust on the take out dishes they could not have possibly missed when putting my food in. This was either intentional or grossly negligent. GROSS!!!!!! Go to Fat fish on old Santa Rita. They will treat your food better. I spent $38 on this filth. I would love to know which worker thought it was perfectly acceptable to put food in these to go platters. SMH. Vile.I spoke with someone on the phone and was told I would get a refund on at least the bento box. So at least they recognize they messed up. Will update once I actually get the refund. They requested my credit card number expiration date and 3 digit code. I’m gonna be monitoring my credit card and cancelling it due to shady behavior and not receiving my refund despite being told I would get a refund tonight. I was nothing but kind to them and tipped them despite being takeout. This behavior is incredibly despicable and I want to know who thought it was acceptable. *I king vile and nasty jobI called again asking if I would get my refund and they called me out so I brought my order to them and some random dude who didn’t know anything about the situation thought I was trying to harass the employees.Some random guy started harassing me. Avoid this place. WOW. I’m thinking of sewing this place. Just WOW
If you really like Asian food, this is NOT the place for you.We were apartment hunting, and made a stop for our favorite cuisine. The service was lack luster, and the food was even worse!We got ramen, and udon. The Udon was more edible, but the Ramen was not better (arguably worse) than the 99 cent cup of soup. It was bland and tasteless, and not worth the calories.

I had the scallops heaven and it was delicious. It was full of flavor. I also had the bento box with bbq rips and it was great. I wasn't so crazy about the gyza. Overall, the service was great and inviting. The chef made us an extra treat after we finished. We would definitely be returning.
