The staff at Mad About Sushi were very friendly and the service was great, but unfortunately the sushi wasn’t what I was expecting. The fish didn’t taste very fresh and the overall quality felt a bit disappointing. I really wanted to like this place, but based on this experience I won’t be returning.

Absolutely loved Mad for Sushi! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
The all you can eat menu was packed with fresh and delicious options. Every roll was beautifully presented and tasted amazing. The appetizers, sashimi were all included and just as good as the sushi. The service was fast and super friendly; the staff made sure we were happy and our plates were never empty. The atmosphere was vibrant and clean—a great place for a casual night out or a special occasion. We left full and satisfied! Highly recommended for sushi lovers!
Good Quality and decent prices. Didn’t have to wait too long on a Saturday night.

We arrived at 6 PM on a Friday. The restaurant wasn’t busy and there were many empty tables. The staff asked me to put my name on the waitlist and it will be a few minutes before she can seat us. We were finally seated after 10 minutes. I’m not sure how they will manage if the place gets busy. The waitress explained how to order and the time limit. The foods came out quickly. The nigiri were generous with little rice and a big slice of fish, which is how I like them. The fried octopus was delicious and so was the sashimi salad. The rest of the foods were ok. Our empty plates were cleared quickly and our tea cups were refilled often. We enjoyed our first visit.

The fish is fresh and there is a good variety of options. My family and I only eat salmon and no spicy foods and we were able to eat without any challenges. This restaurant became our favorite one to eat japonese food.

the worst sushi buffet i have so far. the food is not fresh, the service is poor and let me wait for 15 min to dine in without anyone checking. 40 dollars/ person with bad service makes me uncomfortable at all! i definitely don't recommend it.

One of the best all-you-can-eat (AYCE) sushi spots in Dublin. The foods come out very fast and they were delicious. I definitely recommend Nigiri plates.

I think they recently changed ownership. Menu selection is kind of wierd. Sit down is all you can eat, limited to 5 dishes per round, ala carte is takeout only. Portions were modest, it looked kind of sloppy and made by an inexperienced chef. The fish was falling off of the rolls as if they were made in a hurry. I do not recommend this place as there are plenty of better options nearby.

Hours of operation say 1130 to 9 on the window. I walked inside. She said we’re closed. I recommend taking down old sign.
We came here as a group of 6 for AYCE. Overall, the food was really good—we especially loved the appetizers, nigiri, and rolls. Everything tasted fresh and well-prepared, so no complaints on that end.
That said, the service was a bit disappointing. The booth we were given felt too tight for 6 people. We asked if we could move to a larger table, but were told it was reserved. By the time we left, the table was still empty (picture attached), which was frustrating.
We also had issues ordering sake. We asked for a specific one, were told it was out of stock, and that they’d come back with other options. Fifteen minutes later, after reminding our server, she said she was “just about to” check, then came back 10 minutes later to let us know the original sake was available after all. That felt pretty unorganized.
Finally, when it came time to pay, we waited about 20 minutes after asking for the bill. No one brought it, so we ended up going to the hostess stand to check out. Btw Our server was Madelyn 👎
