Bo, knows his Chinese food. Mandarin Delight is a must stop for us, whether its lunch or dinner. We live in Idaho (600 +miles away) and travel here to the East-bay to see our family and friends. Mandarin Delight is a must stop for one or two meals. And yes, we rave about Bo’s food back home in Idaho City.Whether we have pork, beef, chicken, Mandarin Delight has great flavors and everything is cooked to perfection.Service is fast, beer is cold and the food is very flavorful. And don’t forget to look at the daily specials!Thank you again, Bo.

Bo knows Mandarin Delight! If don’t know Bo, you don’t know Mandarin Delight! You haven’t been delighted until you dine on Mandarin Delight. The best Mandarin food in the East Bay if not the entire Bay Area. The seafood soup is full of seafood, fresh and plump! Every bite of every dish is delish. Nothing is left on our plates and all left overs are taken home for lunch for the entire family! Kids especially! Everyone in our family has come to love Bo as much as his kitchen. I used to think it was just us he spoiled, but he takes care of each table as if it were his own family. I highly recommend you try and delight in Bo’s Mandarin Delight. Thank you Bo for always making us full and feeling like your favorite guests. You’re sure our favorite host and place to gather as a family for dinner. Many blessings to you and yours!

Went in with my family on a Monday to try out a new restaurant and let me tell you, I'm so glad we find this amazing restaurant. Had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Bo. He is extremely friendly and really makes you feel welcomed and relaxed for an amazing dining experience. The staff and Bo are very attentive with checking in multiple times and making sure we have enough water. The food was AMAZING!!! Everything they brought out was delicious and fresh. There is not a single bad thing I can say about this restaurant. Mandarin Delight checks all the boxes. I highly recommend this restaurant!

I ordered the Garlic Chicken lunch (comes with soup of the day and a fried wonton)The garlic chicken is delicious and a good portion. The fried rice is flavorful without additional soy sauce. The chicken corn egg flower soup was delicious and comforting.

Best Chinese food in the tri valley! Always fresh and doesn't just taste like msg. The princess chicken is our favorite. Highly recommend!

This place appears to be a local favorite. I could understand why, better than your run of the mill Panda Express. They have lots of options. I recommend the fried string beans, salt and pepper shrimp and beef and broccoli. The service was fast and no frills efficient. Place can be cramped so big crowds isn't a good idea but they accommodated our group of 5 pretty well. At the end, they have my daughter a fruit roll up which I thought was cute.

Don’t expect anything fancy when you walk in, but don’t let the “look” fool you. I have been on the hunt for a good Chinese Restaurant in the Tri-Valley for the past couple years and haven’t had any success until today! My friends and I decided to take our chances after reading through the reviews, which isn’t something I normally do. Sometimes people are very unfair and rather than talk to the establishment about their experience, whether good or bad, they normally just post a bad review. I like to give a place an opportunity to make things right if I have had a not so great experience. This place from the start made you feel very welcome. Like I said, nothing fancy, but the warm welcome, along with the delicious food was perfect for what we were looking for. I asked for the Spicy Eggplant to not be too spicy and I added Prawns to the order as it didn’t come with meat. It came out piping hot in temperature, but perfectly seasoned. We each ordered the luncheon special and it came with soup, a wonton and I chose brown rice. So many restaurants have recently started cutting back on their portion sizes, that wasn’t the case here. After eating what I wanted, they packaged up each of our orders to take home. There was enough for another meal. I will definitely be returning to this little gem.Parking: Ample parking

After seeing the pictures on yelp. I have to check this place out. I had the lunch special. Mongolian beef over fried rice. It even comes with a side of soup.(corn with egg drop soup ) most restaurants won't give you soup if you soup if you order to go. When open my container... this thing was full to the rim. It was Hella good and big portion for the price of $15. Did not disappoint me at all. Ain't going to lie though, it took me two lunch days to finish this.thats how big the portions was. Definitely will go back.
