I usually have a nice meal at Market Tavern but their game was definitely off on New Year's Eve a few days ago. They had a special menu for New Year's Eve which we decided to use. We both got the fillet mignon and the cauliflower soup. The steaks were cooked poorly. Mine was undercooked and the other one was overcooked. My steak was full of grizzle - hardly what you would expect for an expensive cut of meat. The soup was served at room temperature which was disappointing. The pecan pie for dessert was excellent.
Rib Eye, Salmon and Chicken was excellent. Our waiter did a great job and never rushed us as we were having dinner with friends.
I made reservations for 6 at least two weeks before our visit and we were seated across from the door to the outside patio, which was opened several times during our brunch, it was very cold, none of us could take our coats off during our dining experience. I am not sure they had enough staff (hiring sign on the door), but our server made sure we had everything we needed, and did a good job making sure we didn't need anything. Everyone had a different opinion on their brunch choice, good and bad. I can say for sure, we all enjoyed the deviled eggs appetizer.
The Margareta pizza and shrimp salad could not have been better. Really enjoyed our lunch.
Underwhelming food and value. Good service but felt the same at a diner in NJ. Would not dine here again if I had choice.
I met an old buddy who I hadn't seen in years. We sat outside near the fire pit. Our service was just right, giving us time to talk, reconnect and were not interrupted only when needed. The food was excellent, I had the steak sandwich with a cup of turkey soup. We will meet there again, hopefully sooner than layer
This place has great food and service but the a/c is cranked up and is cold.

Once again, MT knows how to do a holiday meal well for so many! The food was excellent and service was great. We've been there for holidays and for regular meals and it's always great.
We had a wonderful Thanksgiving lunch. Everyone did a great job from the set menu with many choices to servers and the kitchen staff who cooked up delicious and generous meals. I would do it again next year for sure. I appreciate the time everyone at Market Tavern spent making our experience memorable understanding their families were home.
Ancient cavern.

Our server was excellent. We had an early reservation, so he did not rush us at all. It was nice and quiet, so I was able to have a great conversation with my recently-widowed friend. Unfortunately, a party of 10 or 12 came in and they were incredibly loud!
My first time visiting, and I loved it. The eggs Benedict was delicious as well as the garlic potatoes and salad with vinaigrette that it came with. Great and fun drink options. Fun little market as you enter that you can buy homemade breads, cookies, food, and drinks.
Very nice and beautiful restaurant. The staff were great!!

First, reservation was made for inside and the hostess led us to outside. When we reminded them we asked for inside and verabaly asked for a table she attempted to seat us at a booth. Second, one of us ordered an Angus burger medium. What was delivered was a 1/2 inch flattened burger, cooked medium-well. The burger was packed with lettuce and tomato to make it look huge but the "Angus" disappeared. Server was excellent, although it appeared she had too many diners to serve. Two stars, if that. P.S. A few weeks before, we dined for brunch, which was quite excellent. We'll return for bunch but not for dinner.
We greatly enjoyed our lunch, but I hesitate to return due to the air conditions caused by the woodburning oven. I have asthma and was very bothered by breathing difficulties by the end of our meal. The ventilation needs to be improved for those of us who have respiratory disease.
