The food is usually on point. Today the spinach was not great. The service was good. The busser was quick a well; however, we saw the busser pick his nose and then grab glasses from the top and serve food to another table immediately, so he did not go back and wash his hands. This made our lunch a bit less desirable. When we left-it was mentioned to the gal at the front hostess stand and she didn't seem to be too concerned. Market Tavern is usually a best bet however our last visit was terrible. We were seated for our reservation on time and water came almost immediately. We ordered an appetizer for the table and cocktails. The wait personal asked to take our main course order at the same time which should have been the heads up! Cocktails took a long time, no appetizer came. Entrés came nearly at the same time as the cocktails and the Beet salad had rancid nuts, mashed potatoes and veg was a soupy...
The cocktails were made nicely. Sat outside for dinner. The blinds were down with no circulation coming through. It was very hot and stuffy. Most of our table ordered steak. Everyone said they lacked flavor. This may have been an off night for the kitchen, with the steaks. The sides were nice; however.
