McNamara's Steak and Chop House

Ate here for the first time about a month ago and the food was excellent. The outdoor seating was nice and the staff were super attentive and kind. This was the first time I tried pasta like this and it was outstanding! I work in the area and once my job opens back up I'll Def be eating here again. The sorbet was the perfect way to end the meal!

I celebrated my PhD this evening in this delicious restaurant. happy to tell that it was a sensational evening and the venue was indeed the reason for that successful event. The crew cooperated in a gorgeous way, the cooking was tasty and my buddies were very pleased. We shall definitely visit again for more joyful events. thanks very much.

For a high priced steak House you expect great good and service. The food is excellent but the service was so bad that I will never go again. It ruined our very special Valentine's night out. I have never not left a tip anywhere in my life but the service was so horrendous I left zero. $242 for two and no tip!

The food here is low quality and I can’t believe how this place is still in business. I would be embarrassed if I was the owner of such an establishment. The oysters were dry and stale. The meat quality is poor, the seasoning is bad and the way they cook steaks is how an amateur would do it; I cook better steaks in my backyard with very little prep time. They over charge without any shame. The entree does not come with a side, there was no bread provided, the lobster bisque tasted like Campbell soup, the desserts were stale and bad quality. As part of the Valentine’s Day prefix menu they provided champagne which was cooks brand approximately $8 a bottle; I don’t care for champagne but if you are charging $100 a person at least serve higher quality products. The service was poor and the servers didn’t know what they were doing. The place is focused on higher profit margins and not customer satisfaction and retention. I highly recommend taking your business somewhere else.

Valentine’s Day. Really bad service! Kept bringing us the wrong food. Didn’t bring our drinks. Filet was over-cooked. Desert was a brick-hard brownie. Sorry to say we did not enjoy our 2-hour event.

I eat here a lot since I work nearby. I like how their customer service is always fantastic and they keep the spot well organized consistently. Rates are affordable and they serve big portions.

Disappointment for the price. Steak was good but sides were dismal. Vegetables and wild rice had zero seasoning. A premium martini was $20 which is high. Atmosphere set in the 80's hasn't been touched in 20 years..at best. Ruth's Chris pricing for a sizzler experience.

Sadly not great. The food was marginal and somewhat cold. Wish it was better it has such potential.

Went on New Year's Eve. Food was great. Service terrible. Arrived at 7:30. had to chase a waiter for drinks. Many in our party had to leave around 9:00 because dinner was nowhere in sight. Finally done by 11:45 just in time (barely) for New Year. Complained to the manager. His response, and I qoute, "That's OK, I have plenty of other customers." Our group will never go back there.

Good food all around. Love coming here on Thanksgiving—even the turkey is as good as the steaks. Excellent service, makes one feel like a VIP. Seating is very comfortable. Big parking lot with plenty of parking space. Highly recommended for special occasions and for bringing family and/or guests.

Went for a Christmas party. Great appetizers and dessert, but the main course was not great. Tough Filet Mignon, and overcooked Lobster tail. Service was just ok.

We love our holiday parties here! Great and attentive service!
