Ramen 101 offers a diverse menu, featuring classic ramen dishes like Tonkatsu and spice noodle, as well as unique options like barbecue chicken and Katsu. The kitchen is visible upon entry, and customers order first before being seated. While the service can be unwelcoming at times, the food quality is consistently high, with fresh ingredients and great flavors. Takeout orders are well-packaged, maintaining the quality of the dishes. This location was waaaay better than the location that is still open half a mile away; the location still open has sparse toppings, a smaller portion and the taste isn't right. Staff was so friendly. The bbq chicken & beef plate was pretty good! It came with mac and some rice. It was filling and hit the spot. Ramen 101 is a great joint for when you have a ramen craving and are in the area! A $15 bowl of ramen, with great portion and great flavor. The veggie ramen with tofu, mushrooms, corn, bean sprouts and a boiled egg on the side was loved, especially the creamy version of their veggie broth. Ramen noodles were great and cooked well too. They also offer other Hawaiian bbq staples. Ramen 101 provides a satisfying dining experience, with a menu that caters to a range of tastes and dietary preferences.
