🎉🎂♎️ October 2025: Shabu- Shabu at Shabu King, Dublin 🥢🍲💕

This is an All You Can Eat Japanese Hotpot! The broth was delicious! I got the Tonkotsu Broth. The soup was tasty, but I added some crab and shrimp to enhance the flavor. They also have kimchi and sweet radish cubes that I love. For dessert, we had the fried sesame balls which came out hot and delicious!

Great attentive service from the staff. A great variety of delicious add-ons from the buffet bar. Great selection of sauces as well.
The meat was fresh! I would come back again when I'm in the area!

My new favorite hot pot, they are quick and let you order more than 4 things at a time. So you are not waiting around forever. Also big collection of sides. Premium worth the upgrade for meats

Have been here twice now. Great experience both times. Veggie bar selection is limited, but quite fresh and they have all the essentials - napa cabbage, bok choy, corn, etc.

Meat is ordered by the tray but they give good portions and I found all of it to be very high quality.

The beef short rib is A+ I could easily eat three trays of that by myself. The other cuts are good too.

Stay away from the blue crab 🙅‍♀️. Texture isn't great and it'll get your hands messy.

By far my favorite AYCE spot in the tri-valley. Food is always super good, the meat is by far the freshest and the tastiest, you can tell because the meat is still a bit frozen (when you slice meat thin it needs to be a bit frozen), so this means that the meat has just been sliced, and hasn't been sitting out for a while like other AYCE spots.

You always get sat pretty fast and there's a huge selection of meats, seafood, and veggies. My only complaint is the broth isn't always the tastiest, it's kinda like the broth that you'd make at home with like an instant ramen packet. But as you eat, you can flavor the broth with the veggies and aromatics they have, and the meat or seafood you put in.

The service is awesome and there's always something new! I always end up coming back every month and always leave happy and full.

Excellent broth, with some amazing cuts of meat.

Chow down for an hour or two and leave fully satisfied knowing you've eaten your moneys worth.

Met up with a friend for lunch and it did not disappoint! The meat options are a bit fewer than at dinner, but it’s still really good. For $20.99 for all you can eat, it’s totally worth it. The vibe is awesome, and I love having my own pot. Plus, there’s a cold appetizer bar where you can grab your noodles and appetizers, veggies, and mix your own sauce. I’ll definitely be back!

I came here a couple of times and here’s my experience.
The lunch special price is good for ayce but be aware there’s a lot of fat on the meat. And the sides are really bland.
This one lady worker there is rude and I paid cash and she didn’t even ask if I wanted change. As someone who used to work at a restaurant, asking if they wanted change is usually how it goes as some people want it back.
The music is also interesting. I went for dinner with my family once and they were blasting really loud club/rave music. It was very annoying.

Deluxe meal was $75 per person. You could get 5 meats at a time. It was a good little all you can eat. Veggie/ noodle bar had a great variety as well.

Service was good but as it got busier it got a little slower.

Overall would recommend.

If you're a hot pot lover and find yourself near Dublin, CA, Shabu King is a must-visit! From the moment you walk in, the vibe is casual and welcoming. The space is clean, modern, and perfect whether you're dining solo, with a date, or with a group of friends. Each person gets their own individual pot, which makes the experience feel personalized and fun.

What really stands out is the quality and variety. You choose your broth (I went with the miso highly recommend), and then load up on super fresh veggies, thinly sliced meats, seafood, and noodles. Everything tastes fresh and flavorful. They also have an amazing sauce bar where you can build your perfect dipping combo think garlic, scallions, sesame, chili oil, and more.

The staff is super friendly and attentive they take time to explain how everything works if you're new, and they constantly check in to make sure you have everything you need. It feels like they genuinely care about making your experience a good one.

And the best part? Unlimited rice, noodles, and soft serve ice cream at the end. It’s honestly such a great deal for what you get.

Shabu King is one of the best hot pot spots I’ve tried in the Bay Area. Great food, good energy, and kind people I’ll definitely be back!

Good service. Everyone is so polite. Selection is just enough for a well rounded hot pot. Meat quality is what you would expect from an AYCE. As with many hot pot places, only wish the bowl and spoon they gave to use, were either stainless or ceramic after-all it is hot food. Either way def a place worth trying and will def return.

What do you expect from a All-you-can-eat restaurant? Endless foods or cordial service or romantic environment? This place have various pre-sliced meats and lots of veggies to make soup delicious, all right. Atmosphere is loud with over head speaker make you'll have indigestion for sure.

If you want to score the 10 points limit I will play 5 points, the meat is OK, other general, but the soup bottom is very salty, the soup bottom of the hot pot should be light because the meat and other are to be with sauce, the hot pot soup bottom is too salty will let the guests drink a lot of water, so enjoy the fun of food on the big discount, may not patronize!

Choose a broth to suit your taste and enjoy vegetables, shrimp, and vegetables from the self-service bar.
It's good because you can eat rice cakes, etc.
